Yana Skin Care of Houston is a laser center that specializes exclusively in Laser Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation, Vein Removal and IPL Facial. We perform Laser Hair Removal treatments on men and women in a safe and comfortable environment providing you with the long lasting results you are looking for.
One problem that we have to struggle with is the removal of hair. It can be a hassle trying to shave in the shower, which is why there is that joke about how it is "shower yoga". Though often times even when you shave, you still get that feeling of stubble rather than smooth legs. Waxing is an effective way to remove your hair and give you smoother legs than you ever thought possible.
Yana Skin Care have the most advanced laser equipment from Cynosure - Elite MPX which treats all skin types. It has an integrated cooling which is called the Zimmer Smart Cool. There is no downtime after the treatments. It has Alexandrite for light skin and Nd: Yag for dark skin. Elite MPX uses proven Multiplex laser technology that delivers real results and fast.
The gentle pulses of laser energy destroy the hair follicles and prevent hair from growing back. Approximately four to six sessions are needed to treat all of the follicles and significantly reduce unwanted hair. Laser treatments can effectively remove hair on the face, arms, back, underarms, legs, chest, and bikini area without harming the surrounding skin.
Only shave the treatment area during your treatment process, no plucking, waxing, bleaching, threading or any method of hair removal that will pull the hair out by the root. The hair must remain intact beneath the skin. Use of tanning beds, self-tanning lotions, creams and sun exposure on the area to be treated must be avoided for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.

The service was fine and the technician was good. I don’t appreciate the owner or her way of doing business. You’re often quoted one price for services and then it changes when you try to book those services. I was quoted one price for follow-up/maintenance services when I finished my initial package and then when I called to book, those prices increased over 400%. Then when I questioned it, 30 minutes later they followed up with another price. I would have grit my teeth and paid the initial quote (from months ago) despite hating the business, but at this point I’m going to look elsewhere

Is my second time at Yana Skin care for laser treatment for my skin and all the staff is very nice always And very welcoming. The lady that does the treatment for me is very profesional and kind before during and after the procedure. They have great prices for all treatments and they even gave me a discount for my birthday. Don't bother! I bought a 3 package chemical peel Groupon for here and besides not peeling at all, every single appointment she tried to up sell me to getting the "stronger" peel, which was a significant price difference. Did not care about my skin at all, just went through the motions, and performed her tasks. Barely evaluated my skin, such a waste. It was not my first time getting a chemical peel so I know what to expect, and how these appointments should go. I went in initially for my laser hair removal (PCOS hair growth)That I had purchased on Groupon - it's stated that it was for a large area.. Small areas were considered your chin, your cheek, you know maybe your neck or draw line. I wanted my jaw line and cheeks so I bought the package for large area. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've been going to YANA for a few months now for laser hair treatment. I think the owner and staff provide exceptional customer service. The office is also very neat, clean, and comfortable.
My issue is with the hair growth I've seen on my legs. I don't think I should need a touch up so soon. I started laser hair removal of my underarms and will probably inquire about it at the next appointment. Initially things were going great, but I look at my legs now and feel like they grow just like they did before the treatment. It's just kind of disappointing

My visit today was the most awesome experience! I enjoyed how friendly the whole staff was and Amber was phenomenal she explains everything before hand and makes sure you are as comfortable as can be when getting any procedure done. I am currently under treatment for laser hair removal and I am very pleased with the outcomes so far. I will give a full update once my testament is done but so far the frequency they use is good and the machine is up to date and works well. I have also done two hydra facials and have to admit that my skin looks so much better. I saw a difference after the first treatment and am loving the results after the second treatment

I had consultation done and was turned away due to my skin color. Meaning that if you don't have fair white skin you are not a candidate for spider veins treatment.I believe that they should have you complete the forms and send a picture in order for anyone to avoid driving there for nothing. I had the spider veins treatment done at other facilities in the past and did not think that I would be turn down. They need to implement a better system for this.

I went there on a Mother's Day package for laser hair removal for my face(600)before I scheduled the appointment I read a review on Facebook saying don't come here.. another customer had a bad experience she also bought a package for laser hair removal and her hair grew back.. ( I gave this place the benefit of the doubt/ I was thinking well, you can't please everyone)
I was wrong..this place uses a big 1980s looking machine and it hurts! After my 6 sessions my hair grew back! I feel so cheated out of money. I called the office
