Pain management plays a large role in almost every patient's treatment, making it an important topic at the pharmacy. Pain can interfere with day-to-day life in many ways, and needs to be addressed in order to maximize a patient's happiness and capabilities. Not all pain is the same, so prescribing the same medication for every patient isn't going to work.
Our pharmacists work with providers and patients to make customized hormone medications to fulfill each woman's needs. The dosage form, flavor, strength, duration and other factors can be adjusted based on preference. Women in early menopause are great candidates as hormone therapy can reduce the risk of bone loss, cognitive decline, and heart disease.
The adrenal glands are responsible for the production of multiple hormones, including cortisol which is responsible for multiple functions throughout the body. Multiple diseases can affect adrenal function, which will result in changes in the amount of cortisol being produced. A lack of cortisol can lead to symptoms like fever, chills, headache, depression, vomiting, fatigue, and more.

I have used this pharmacy for about 1 year. I live in Tucson so my scripts need to be shipped. I have nothing but problems since the beginning. They ship the wrong needles, refill requests are lost and now they ship to the wrong address. My prescription is a week late and now I have to wait 2 more days and then go to the post office and pick up my prescription. I am done!!

If you are unfamiliar with the Civic Center Pharmacy I encourage you to become acquainted. This pharmacy has demonstrated top rate service and friendly, highly qualified staff but more importantly offers the patient a unique opportunity to compound their medications into a form that is best for them that very few other pharmacies offer. Any questions regarding this process and what it entails can be easily explained by the knowledgeable staff in order to help you find a method that is most effective for your life. It is a unique gem in the heart of old town that awaits your presence.
