Services
In-clinic diagnostics blood work including complete blood counts, blood chemistries and thyroid levels. Other tests include heartworm tests for dogs and cats, pancreatitis tests and parvo and ghiardia testing. These on-site tests allow our hospital to diagnose most medical issues immediately so that treatment can begin at once.
Each individual procedure will vary from pet to pet and condition to condition. As with humans, the older the individual the more precaution needs to be taken. Typically a physical examination, review of the patients' medical history and blood work are recommended with older patients. These precautions will make a procedure as safe as possible with a senior pet.
Emergencies often don't happen from 9-5. McComb Animal Hospital can handle the late-night issues that can often affect our pets. The urgent care abilities of McComb Animal Hospital allow your pet to receive the same attention available during our normal business hours. On-site blood testing, X-rays and surgical services are some of the life savings capabilities of our after-hours care.
Medical and surgical needs are a part of our lives as well as those of our furry friends. Our hospital has the ability to perform blood work within 20 minutes to insure your pet does not have any unseen conditions prior to a surgery. McComb Animal Hospital has the ability to perform routine surgeries range from spaying and neutering, dentistry, foreign body removal, wound repair to ear trims.

Do not use this facility. reckless and unprofessional
They currently owe me $500 from a lawsuit and I had to obtain a lean against them. I have been waiting for an entire year now. They didnt bother showing up to court and have made no effort to rectify the situation.
They were very unprofessional when confronted with the situation initially.… They overcharged for a procedure that was not properly conducted, nor was it completed. Had I gone with their diagnosis and incompetent test my cat would have died a slow and painful death via impaction.

My dog Bella had a swelling on her face that was near to closing her eye. I stopped by the McComb Animal Hospital but they were closed. I was walking back to my car when Dr. Genie came outside and ask what the problem was. When I told her she had me bring Bella inside. Dr. Genie was very compassionate and caring. I appreciate her seeing Bella after hours unannounced. Thank you Dr. Genie.I Highly recommend McComb Animal Hospital. 5 Stars!
