I am a healthcare worker and we see a lot of the pt that are in this facility. I think that it is sad that the pt in this facility are being mistreated by people who are supposed to help take care of them. You can never get anyone on the phone, if a pt has an appointment they never have them here on time, and more. Please find a better place for your loved ones, because they will not be taken care of here. This place doesn't deserve a star.

My mother is all have left and the staff at Sadie G Mays have been so disrespectful to me and her I am so upset. They take her phone away so that I can only call on the staff phone. The building smells of urine and death. My mother recently had surgery and they try to make her eat fried and spicy foods. My mom has went from thriving to on her death bed. Do not take you loved one here I beg of you. I think we should all be treated with some kind of dignity and respect in our old age. One day it will be you in this nursing home.

I have been going in and out of this facility weekly for 40 years. The residents are happy and the staff is very helpful. I have never heard one resident say anything bad about any of the staff. The facility is very clean because of the staff's hard work and the administration's dedication to the residents.

The staff of Sadie G. Mays was a godsend for me & my mother after her major stroke. Within days of being hospitalized, I reached out to several facilities for aftercare/physical therapy and decided on Sadie Mays as would best suited my mother's short term and long term needs, if needed and the location was near my home. My mother has been shown tremendous care and respect by the staff. The facility of course is an older establishment but kept clean. They have great activities for the patients and it really feels like family. Initially, I was overwhelmed navigating the whole senior care/medicare

My sister is in her 6th month of long-term care at Sadie G.Mays. So far, I am very pleased with her care. The facility is always clean, and the staff is pleasant in their interactions with my sister and with me. She is not on any dietary restrictions, and is enjoying her meals! Nurse Turner keeps me up to speed on any changes in her health care. My sister has been bed-ridden for at least the past 4-5 years -- only getting out of bed for an emergency and then with assistance. The staff at Sadie Mays has gotten my sister out of bed! She is up at least twice a week, and she enjoys the interaction

My relative is doing rehab here. The staff is friendly even though it’s an older facility it still exceeds my expectations. I enjoyed walking in to visit my Aunt and the residents were gathered and singing hymns and I so appreciate that because our elders need spirituality and hope to stay motivated. The staff was very thorough in the progress of our loved one. However saying all that to say keep up the good work Sadie G. Mays as you have served our community for years. Thank you for ALL you do and have done!

We appreciate the service my aunt has receive from the rehabilitation center. This is her second time having to receive care from a fall. This time she was in need of more personal care and "got it". From her bath, hair care, feeding and good conversation with the staff and nurses. She also made new friends with the rehab staff.
Ms. Harris has had friends to come to the facility for care and we enjoyed visiting them there. Sadie Mays Health & Rehabilitation Center is very much appreciated and needed in the community for our senors and other that need their services.

My father has been in this facility for a month now. The staff has been nothing but lovely to my father. We were hesitant on bringing him here because of the reviews, but when I say we are very pleased with the level of care they provide. Everyone is nice and approachable. This has been our second home for the last month. Although he will be discharged soon, we will never forget that staff members who took great care of him. Please do not let the negative comments deter you from bringing your family members here. We have nothing but love for Sadie Mays.
