Amanda has been with the team since 2014. She brings with her a B.A. in Psychology from Siena College and a B.S. in Health Science from Russell Sage College. Always passionate about learning and research, Amanda thoroughly enjoys sharing her knowledge with our patients, providing them with the most accurate and current field advancements throughout their treatment.

Dr. Dreher was born in Laurel, MD, but grew up in Ballston Spa when his parents returned to the area, graduating from Ballston Spa High School in 1981. He attended Springfield College in Massachusetts, graduating in 1985. Then it was off to Columbia University Dental School in New York City, where he graduated from in 1990.
Today, many people with older amalgam fillings are considering having them replaced by newer, safer materials. Dr. Dreher and his team agree with this sentiment; after all, growing scientific evidence points towards the possible dangers in the toxicity of the mercury used in amalgam fillings and the inherent threat of mercury poisoning.

Dr. Dreher’s holistic dental practice has positively reformed my feelings about going to the dentist. Everybody that works here is very kind and always professional. Truly the best dentist experience I’ve ever had! I feel like many people get a bit of anxiety going to the dentist, but this has opened my eyes to how amazing it can be! Kendra was AMAZING. She was so informative and thorough. She explained exactly what was going on with my teeth in such a simple way and steered me in the right direction. Dr. Dreher is incredible as well. They listen to you and offer you solutions, and truly want what’s best for you. I felt very much taken care of and I’m excited to go back!

Dr. Dreher and his staff safely removed my amalgam filling. They answered everyone of my questions and listened to me about my concerns regarding waiting longer to feel number before beginning the procedure and checking in with me often to make sure I was ok. It was a really positive experience and I’m so relieved my mouth is now amalgam free. Thanks Dr. Dreher!

Extremely friendly staff. Safe Covid protocols. Dr. Dreher is the kindest, most patient person. Takes his time even when is busy..and he is busy these days with everyone catching up on their dental health. He never made me feel rushed. I have been a patient of the sleep center since 2019. They were even willing to purchase the equipment needed to download the usage tracking for m sleep appliance so I can prove my therapy usage for my job as a driver. Staff is always friendly. Dr. Dreher is also knowledgeable in sleep. Who would have thought I would go to a dentist for sleep apnea treatment.

Dr. Dreher is the greatest dentist in the Northeast! He is extremely caring and very knowledgeable. I had many procedures done and never had any pain. Patients come from far to see Dr. Dreher. I have been a patient of Fred Dreher for many years and was recently out of state for 2 years to deal with a family crisis. During that time I maintained my normal bi annual cleaning schedule. Upon returning to NY I set my 6 month cleaning once again with Fred Dreher. At the time I set my appt. the receptionist informed me that I MUST HAVE XRAYS DONE. Not ethical. Sneaky billing tactics and unwilling to discuss in person. The office manager is very confrontational if you ask about billing. I fortunately was able to find another holistic dentist who charges less than half of what this office charges for services and doesn't "add on" a bunch of unsuspecting charges. I would not recommend this office or at the very least I recommend asking for the full cost of service prior to having it.

I recently had extensive dental work done at Dr Dreher's office. I researched other dentists in the area before deciding to have his practice handle my needs. I got exceptional help from the office manager, Lori Ann. There were also two dental assistants who did a great job during my visits, Kendra and Crystal. Dr Dreher did an excellent job with my extractions. I never felt a thing, and I did not use sedation! All of the staff that I came into contact with were very professional and friendly.

The employees are very cool and seem to enjoy there jobs. Dr Dreher is quite methodical in his work. Having witnessed a mercury filling removal and gotten a tour of the office's inner workings, I was impressed with the high tech systems in place intended for precise accuracy and maximum comfort during procedures.

Liars, pushy-sales and asked me if I "had a will to live". I live as holistic as possible and have many sensitivities/allergies. This dentist switched 2 years ago to being holistic although it doesn't say that on here. I believe in whole body health and teeth but all they were the entire time I was there was sales, sales, sales. I paid over $500 for a new customer rate without insurance for xrays and 3 teeth cleaned.
