Sensitive teeth often come from the fact that your gums have slightly receded. This recession of the gum line allows the underlying dentin to show through which allows water and food easier access to the sensitive nerve. To manage this, there are a number of toothpastes, gels and even some dental procedures that can be applied.
With a stream of options available today, Dr. Westmoreland incorporates technologies proven to deliver a higher level of care to her patients. This means comfortable procedures and predictable results. Computer aided design (CAD) involves the design and creation of three-dimensional models such as crowns, veneers, onlays, inlays and bridges with absolute precision.
It is important to follow instructions after you have oral surgery to ensure proper healing and to avoid complications. As a rule of thumb, you should always wait two hours after surgery before eating to let the anesthesia wear off. Trying to eat before this could result in soft tissue damage because you are not able to feel all of your mouth.

An older female administrator refused to verify out of network insurance benefits quote "I'm not doing this" "this is ridiculous" and "well then they're just gonna have to pay" even though insurance information was sent 24 hrs in advance.
She was not only incompetent but- mocking and spiteful. She spent nearly an hour arguing with and alienating a new patient but claimed she didn't have time to verify the pay schedule with the insurance provider because she was too busy.
The next day a different practice was able to verify out of network benefits and provide an estimate and treatment.

I adore Linda. Very personable and she walks you through everything. I've been to dentists where the assistants are the only ones to talk to you and the dentist just pops in, does his thing, and moves on to the next patient. Linda wasn't like this AT ALL and I felt very comfortable with her. I had an extraction and crown down yesterday with minimal discomfort today.

My family has four people in it, two of which are young kids. During our first visit my kids and I received cleanings. We were highly impressed by the warmth and care given by the dental hygienist and office staff. My initial impressions of Dr. Westmoreland were that she was somewhat abrupt in her manner, but believing an efficient personality to be fairly common among healthcare professionals, I wasn’t concerned.
The next appointment was for our 6-year

Excellent Dental office! My kids and I just love the team there. There are always so friendly and patient. The doctor is great about being upfront and explaining needs or services. Most dental clinics I dread going to, anticipation of someone drilling and probing my teeth sends cringes down my back. Wedgwood Dental puts you at ease from the moment you walk in the door. The receptionist is smiling and friendly. The Dental technician is fantastic, friendly explains everything and has a gentle hand. The Dentist is friendly, informative and also a gentle hand. I had no worries going back for follow up visits after my initial visit. I highly recommend Wedgwood, they go above and beyond making you feel comfortable.

Our experience, for John, at Wedgewood Dental was very pleasant. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Dr Westmoreland took time and explained his appointment needs and the work is being done very well. We would definitely recommend this office to anyone. They were very helpful in setting John up in Springfield for a specialist to have his teeth pulled for his plates.
