Two area shops told me there was nothing wrong with my suspension. I felt there was a problem. Beach Ready found the problem within minutes of seeing the car. They did an excellent job repairing it. I finally found a repair shop in the area that I can trust.

As I was about to leave my two weeks on OBX back in May, i discovered my power steering wasn’t working in my Volvo C30. I called 6 or 7 shops to see if they could look at it. This was a Friday and all said the following week was the earliest they could! Except Beach Ready. They said they could look at it that afternoon at 2. Raymond, Jean and… Brian took such great care of me. Told me exactly what was wrong and what would need to be repaired. They even got on a call with my mechanic back home in CT and all agreed I could drive the car back home for repairs locally. They gave me honest

Super experience! Booked us in and beat prices elsewhere. The waiting area and whole business was immaculate. We have never been in such a tidy and nice environment when getting new tires put on our vehicle!
Our last experience at a Kitty Hawk car dealership auto center left us with a strange noise and a loose tire! We had to go all the way back to have them tighten it up and they never apologized. Never again!
Go see these guys they are wonderful to work with and will tighten your lug nuts!

I can't speak for their auto repair services, but I am very appreciative of the free EV charging station that they have with the building. I am on a road trip and this charger is perfect to bridge the gap between the last fast charger and my destination.
The chairs in front of the building are cozy as well.

🐾This is truely the best family-owned business in the Outerbanks area! They really go the extra mile to provide excellent service/customer service, great collaboration with other businesses around and just a great example of professionalism; not commonly found anymore with most businesses. As my family and I were about to end our Outerbank… vacation, just recently, the car broke down. We were stranded in the area, with no other resources available for weeks, to help. Worst repair experience of my life! while replacing my starter they broke the air pump and glued it back together (see photo) / they made no mention of their rig job to me. Naturally the glue didn't hold and I had 4 warning lights going for my entire 8 hour drive back to Charlotte. The owner "Jean" took responsibility for it but has never reimbursed me for the $1,400 my Charlotte shop charged me to repair Beach Ready's damage and their customer service person "Gloria" also promised to pay me - nothing - so Beware!

We were on our way to the outer banks and after two days of driving, our tire pressure light went on. We stopped at Beach Ready Auto to make sure we didn't have an actual leak. The staff was friendly and despite having a lot of customers that day, still checked out the pressure in all our tires on the spot to make sure we were ok.

Amazing !!! These guys are very smart and incredibly honest. They also repair your vehicle with exactly what is wrong AND give you a nationwide warranty on most things repaired. This is the place to go if you have any car/truck troubles while on vacation in the outer banks. Also big thanks to Donuts on a Stick (Duck, NC) / David Williams for sending us to them. On our way to OBX from Philly we had a little car trouble. Stopped at Beach Ready Auto and couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received. The car issue was diagnosed and repaired quickly. Very reasonable price, and they even offered to check our car again on our way back home just to make sure everything was in order. If I lived here this would be my mechanic. Definitely recommend.

I drive a Volvo and was on vacation in the outer banks, NC when the driver side seatbelt locked. I called Volvo and thought we we going to have to dive 1 1/2 hrs to Hampton Roads to get it fixed. One local Auto repair shop told us they could not work on it cause they were sure we need a new seat belt.
I called Beach Ready Auto Repair and they said to bring it by and he would take a look. Jean Murillo Sr. took a look and was able to remove a bolt and get the belt to retract!
The nicest part was he would not take money or a tip. The world needs more people like this who are willing to help out others

I drove down to Corolla NC for Spring Break last week, and near the end of my drive, my belts on my Acura started making a whining noise. I arrived safely, searched Yelp, and called Beach Ready and explained my problem. They were very professional on the phone, and we made an appointment to bring my car in.
