Services
Although it draws on ancient wisdom and practice it has become integrated with western medical approaches and subject to rigorous standards of modern research. Studies have shown that acupuncture stimulates the body's own immune response, produces endorphins, activates key brain regulatory centers and neurotransmitters, improves circulation, reduces inflammation, balances hormones and unblocks stuck energy.
Zoe received her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Massachusetts. She is also a nationally certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Is acupuncture appropriate for me? Yes. We treat all ages and types of people and can address most conditions. View a list of frequently treated conditions here. Each holistic treatment comprehensively assesses patterns for each individual and can have far reaching affects, addressing even more conditions than typically listed.
Please note: The length of treatments will vary depending on each patient and what modalities are being used. We request that you notify us 24 hours before your appointment if you are unable to make it. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment you will be charged a missed appointment fee which is half price of your appointment.
Allow ample time so you're not rushed. Leave time to complete paperwork prior to your first visit and time to relax and settle in before and after treatment. During your first visit we'll go through your health history in detail in order to get the whole picture. In addition to symptoms and any recent or chronic conditions, we'll also ask about your lifestyle, diet, emotional health, injuries, allergies, and hormones.

Like most guys and first timers, I was very skeptical about acupuncture but Zoe came highly recommended by my physical therapist at Soul PT (BAC). Since I was in so much pain with a pinched sciatic nerve I was willing to give it a go..... to give you a sense of just how much pain, my wife had to put on my socks and tie my shoes for three days!!!
My first appointment (of five) was eye opening to say the least but Zoe was the consummate professional and put me totally at ease. It definitely took several appointments before noticeable relief, but that started kicking in by appointment #4! By my fifth

Originally an acupuncture skeptic, I now look forward to my weekly session with Zoe! I went to the ER with severe shoulder pain that had been increasing for a week. The doctor told me it was a pinched nerve and to find a physical therapist. The next day, Zoe’s guasha treatment made the pain disappear in 24 hours. Zero pain, full mobility. That was over a month ago. I am still in awe of how effective it was! Thank you Zoe for your awesome care!

I went to see Zoe for scar tissue in my left breast. She wasn't familiar with this. She did some reading and research and begin to treat me weekly. I begin to feel and see improvement early on. I looked forward to my sessions with her. She is such a great listener. I had also just lost my husband to cancer. Zoe was so kind & empathetic! She gives thoughtful advice and her hands & treatments are magical.

I was supposed to go on thyroid medication for the rest of my life, but my symptoms didn't fit perfectly into the western medicine model (though my blood test showed my thyroid was failing). Zoe seemed to understand what I was going through perfectly and was able to connect the physical and emotional aspects of my illness. A year after going to Zoe for acupuncture, my endocrinologist said as long as I continued to test my thyroid yearly, I did not need to see her anymore. She said she had never seen someone recover like that without pharmaceuticals. I'm forever grateful that Zoe was able to keep
