I couldn’t be more thankful for having Melani and her team for joining us on our special day and capturing the moments that will now last us generations! Melani had come very highly recommended and I obviously saw how talented she was through her portfolio, but what I did not really appreciate was just how fantastic she was to work with. She quickly understood our personalities and was able to bring out the best in two people who are a bit shy and don't particularly love being photographed. She was incredibly responsive and had every detailed captured, putting me at ease way before my wedding weekend that I would not have to worry about anything with regards to the photography. I recently worked with Melani on a photo shoot in my home and was extremely impressed with her professionalism and talent! Melani is a perfectionist in her work but has a very calming and supportive nature about her. She will keep you calm and build your confidence as she tends to every detail of the shoot. I had no experience before and she knew exactly how to instruct me from head to toe to get the perfect shot - details that you never realized made the difference, until you see the results of the shoot! There is a reason Melani Lust has been recognized for her outstanding wedding photography so many times. She is incredibly talented, professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I was blown away by the quality of the shots we got back for our wedding. Also, as somebody who loves candid shots, I was particularly impressed with those photos. She has such a skill for capturing little moments. That said, I also LOVED the portrait shots and was amazed by how much work she putting into setting up every shot perfectly.

After viewing her work online, I knew that I had to have Melani photograph my wedding this past September, and it's hands down one of the best choices that I ever made. I first met her during the engagement photo session, and her personality made me love working with her even more. She is so enthusiastic to capture the perfect shot and nothing will stand in her way.
