Owner, John Richards earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton in 1991. After working for years at a chain pharmacy, John joined Professional Village Pharmacy as a staff pharmacist in 2001. He quickly saw how an independent pharmacy allowed him to make a bigger impact for good.
So in 2004, John and his wife Melissa purchased Professional Village, continuing its over 60 year tradition of high quality and superior customer service. Barbara Dace has been a pharmacist at Professional Village for over 35 years! She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton in 1984.

My dog has to get his medicine from a compounding pharmacy. Because its a controlled substance his Veterinarian has to write the prescription with accuracy with no room for error. I get it the pharmacy has to follow state law. This pharmacy puts the customer through hoops, many hands have to check, recheck, authorize and reauthorize to get the prescription filled. The wait time to pick the prescription is a minimum of 15 - 20 minutes, because it has to be rechecked for the bzillion time. OMG! I now go to Pucci Pharmary with ease. They are confident what they are doing and they have been serving

I had a great experience working with everyone i interacted with here. The pharmacist took his time answering all my questions about how to best give my cat his meds (i have a fiesty kitty). I really appreciate how they worked with me when I had a misunderstanding of a certain medication, during a time in my life that i could really use some flexibility. It made me feel secure in taking care of my furry companion, and that means a lot. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I wanted to share my experienced with this awesome pharmacy. Since I couldn't get my sick doggy 🐶to take her meds in pill form, my vet suggested liquid. I was thrilled when they marked the tiny syringes with the precise measurements. She has to take several. Today, after lining those syringes up, I noticed the color coding dots. OMG I don't have to look at the small print, the colors are bright, matching, bottle dots with syringe dots. THANK YOU Professional Village 👍😍

I went to Professional Village Compounding Pharmacy to pick up medication for my little dog. The clerk and pharmacist were more than kind to my dog and me. I told them my dog had arthritis and getting around had become increasingly difficult for her. The pharmacist told me about a medication that I can find online that wouldn't interact with my dog's other medications. She wrote the name down in both it's generic and brand name. She spoke to my dog in a kind and gentle manner. Later that day, while my car was cleaned, the paper she had written the information on was lost. I called her back to ask

I used to get my prescriptions at any big chain pharmacy I lived near, but my dog needed a medication that needed to be compounded and this pharmacy was able to get it done for me quickly and efficiently! Being a college student, my funds are always tight and the staff was able to work with me to provide very reasonable pricing. Because of their care and attention towards me and my dog, I fill all of my prescriptions here! Thank you for your professionalism and great customer care!

This place is great. Although they were very busy, I received great service. It is a specialty pharmacy that can address needs regular pharmacy's can't. Someone at another pharmacy referred me here for my cat's antibiotics. My vet had sold me the powder form but couldn't weigh it or divide it so it would last 30 days. The pharmacist cheerfully did this for me. I hope to purchase the next month's supply at Pro Village Compounding Pharmacy. Also this place felt like an old fashioned drug store with very friendly and helpful staff. Love it
