It takes a special person to be a caregiver / companion for a senior. Applicants must have experience working with seniors and have a kind, patient, and compassionate demeanor. MUST also meet requirements such as an eligible level 2 background screening, drug testing, clean driving record, and have excellent detailed work references.
Alzheimer's can be one of the most difficult illnesses that occur due to age. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Always First Homecare Companion Service and their owners, Leslie & Debra. It’s the passion to truly help their clients maintain their independence in a dignified manner that makes them stand out from competitors. The pricing is also extremely affordable and provides a great alternative to assisted-living facilities. Debra and Lesley provide qualified caring and devoted caregivers. They are honest and devoted to finding appropriate people to care for your loved ones when you can't, as if they were their own parent, etc. In this profession and growing need for providers to care for the elderly, when you see or find quality and truly caring individuals it's a GOD SEND !
