Leatherface Tree Service trimmed a very large oak in our front yard and did an excellent job. Richard is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he would do and why and answered all our questions. He educated us on what we needed as well as explaining why, at this time, we did not need other services he offered. His honesty and professionalism stands out. Wow when you talk about Service you get it ALL with Richard and his crew. Nothing beats an owner that cares about his customers and trees. Hard working, on time, professional. They removed a large tree and did not damage the delicate landscape underneath . They took all the limbs and stumps and cleaned the yard. And a very good price. 5 stars!!

Can’t recommend enough! We hired Leatherface to remove some trees and trim a neglected large oak in our backyard. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Richard was prompt to respond, his quote was reasonable, and he was able to schedule the job quickly. Richard did much of the trimming work himself, and his crew was outstanding. He is very polite, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Anytime we need tree services, we will contact Richard without hesitation.

Richard was able to determine that our tree was still healthy, which meant we could keep it. He then pruned and trimmed the tree to keep it healthy, and to prevent future damage to surrounding structures.

I can't tell you all how happy I am with the service I recieved from Leatherface Tree Service. Richard was quick to answer and help me get an estimate, answer all of my questions (which was a lot) and was… sensitive to my family's emotional attachment to the family tree that had stood for 50 years. He took the time to show and explain to me the big problem, and let me take pictures while he worked. The stump grinding was so necessary, and not included in other quotes I had gotten from other companies. I HIGHLY recommend them, and can't thank Richard enough.
