Best Sitters, inc. is a Washington Corporation and is licensed to do business as a client fee paid referral agency. Our discriminating clients reside in the greater Seattle and Eastside areas. We also serve the major hotels in these areas.
Our Best Sitters have been carefully screened and selected with verification of character, background, and experience. Each sitter is required to be 25 years of age, have their own transportation, and a Washington State Patrol background check. Once we have served you, your file will be activated and it will be even easier the next time you call.

Stay home. Call in sick. Do not use them! There "best" sitter left my child alone multiple times during the day including when he was eating and ignored him for the majority of the day. Too busy on her cell phone and snooping through our things. Then, she had the balls to turn my nanny cam around so I was unable to see what was going on for 2+ hours. Scary and VERY unsettling to say the least.

We've used Best Sitters only on short notice when our nanny has been sick or on vacation. The most notice we''ve given them is about a week and the least is 1 day. We've used them maybe 6-8 days (on 3 separate occasions).
Pros: The owner, Brenda, follows up promptly and has never failed in getting someone on short notice. She's also very friendly and accommodating.

We have been VERY pleased with this service. We've used them twice and requested the same sitter, Lisa, whom we are so happy with. She really goes above and beyond what we would expect from a service. She is so personable and active with our two children, ages 7 months and 6 years; working in activities with the older child and taking great care of the needs of the baby. We love the full report we receive! Our babies are all smiles when they're with her, they love her - what more could we ask? I've used them quite often, being a single parent and wanting to not rely on the kindness of my friends too much. Everyone who's watched my daughter has been so gracious and sometimes I've come to find they washed my dishes, which is always a pleasant surprise. I feel pretty good about them and would recommend them.

The babysitting service was alright. I would use them again and do recommend them, but I would prefer using someone I knew.
I hated the idea of overusing friends to watch my new baby. Once in awhile it was fine but there were plenty of times I wanted to go out with my friends too.
I turned to this service when I had to find a sitter at the last minute. I was really nervous about getting a sitter I didn't know personally. You read enough of all those local baby shaking incidents and it starts to get to you.
