Services
Recent research emphasizes the importance of Learning Windows that occur in the child's brain. Our programs are designed to expose children to those learning opportunities. While we offer daycare, we are primarily an education facility, with programs developed to inspire learning, spark imagination, and instill the joy of discovery.
Highly experienced teachers lead the staff of Mountainside School. Teachers are certified - including STARS required training. They attend yearly continuing education workshops and are committed to the education and care of young children. Director, Debbie Giralmo joined Mountainside in 1985 and has been in her current role since 1999.

I’m a new mom and was very sad that I had to put my son in childcare at first. The teachers Laurie and Bernadette were very helpful with the transition and made me feel very comfortable leaving my son there. My son has now been going to Mountainside for 5 months now and takes to these teachers like they are family. They have helped him grow and develop so much and they truly care for him as if he was their own child. It feels great when I see my sons face light up with joy when he sees his teachers. I’m thankful for all the staff has done for us and I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your children
