Would never recommend. Failed to communicate with me for going on over six weeks when they ghosted me on my move of my belongings from their storage facility back to my home. This whole fiasco has created undue stress, anxiety for me and wasted hours of me contacting them and every governing authority I can think of. Beware.

Didn't know what to expect since we had never used a service to move before. They guys who came to do the move were awesome! They wrapped furniture and took all precautions to get the furniture in the truck. They took care in packing it all in the truck. And when they came to delivery to the new address, they took just as much care. These guys knew their job and did it extremely well. I knew we were a challenge as we had so much to move, yet they never batted an eye, just took it all in stride and made it happen. Over all, Ruth Movers, Inc. is a great company with an excellent staff. I cannot say

I was impressed with the professionalism of the people I worked with at Ruth Movers. We had an old upright piano moved. They answered all my questions and there were no hidden fees. The piano movers were also great. They called to let me know that they left the office and how long it would take to get to my home. They were timely and efficient. I have used Ruth THREE times now, with excellent results each time. The first time was to move a Mason&Hamlin grand piano and gun safe out of my home in Wayzata to my new home in Mendota Heights. They did a great job of being careful of the hardwood floors and were on time. The second experience also involved moving the same two items, but this time into a storage locker (divorce) until further notice. Once again, on time, professional, and prompt. The last time was to move my piano and gun safe into my new home in Eden Prairie. There was a miscue with the pick up time and drop off time.

Crabby management. Paid over $7,000 for full service: both pack and move (one block). Then when price went over their estimate, she blamed me for not doing enough packing before they came. Also, lied about how much I had done.
When I could not find stuff they had packed, Ruth would not return my calls or email.
Threw case with EXPENSIVE telescope down on the ground when I accidentally lead moving guy to wrong spot in my yard.
Left HUNDREDS of items behind in my previous home.
Two stars rather than one because the guys were good at packing and moving.

I was robbed!! I called to have a piece of furniture moved from a store in Minneapolis to my home in Edina. Details about the furniture was provided and a quote was provided. They showed up and wanted $200 more for the move. They claimed the time would be significantly more to drive from Minneapolis to Edina than originally thought. I was being held up. We settled on $100 more. I was furious. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not honest and have figured out how to fleece the customer when they have little choice.

I don't normally write negative reviews but I have to be honest. They started off so nice and kind on the phone (the owner) to get your business but they estimate at a really low attractive rate knowing full well that it will cost more in the end. Paid by the hour, of course the guys take their time. They were kind and good guys but needed to move faster. I'm not paying you to take smoke breaks.They assumed 3 hours for my window so I even booked comcast to come to my new place the 2nd hour in (truck wasn't even loaded yet though) My girlfriend even helped them the whole time. Ruth Movers moved my mom into her apartment and the 2 men did an awesome job! They were polite, carefully wrapped everything and moved her quickly and set things up for her. I was very impressed. She has hired many movers before and this is one of the best experiences we have had by far. They were extremely reasonably priced as well as they got her moved so quickly and smoothly! I just called Ruth Movers for a 2nd time. This time I went online to read their reviews and in doing so I cam across a negative review while on the phone with Bre. I asked her about that complaint and she had lots of details about this "customer". So then I went to his yelp profile and saw that he had only written negative reviews and NO POSITIVE reviews. (pretty revealing)
My experience was a good one. The crew definitely knew what they were doing. Many people just want hire some muscle and pay the cheapest they can. BUYER BEWARE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
