I am pleased to have this opportunity to welcome you to my office. After graduating from the LSU School of Dentistry I completed a two year program of specialty training in orthodontics at LSU, and have been practicing orthodontics in Baton Rouge for more than 25 years. I am one of only 12 board certified orthodontists in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

My practice is limited to orthodontics, which I believe allows me to offer you the best in orthodontic care. Among the things I offer in my practice are: braces for both children and adults; metal and clear braces, Invisalign treatement; after school appointments four days a week; lunchtime appointments once a week; and flexible payment plans.
Services
Carley likes the opportunity to interact with the patients and parents that being at the front desk allows. She enjoys playing with her cat and going to Disneyworld. Grace likes working with our patients and seeing their self-confidence grow as their smile improves. She enjoys going to the beach as well as spending time with her friends and family.
After placement the braces will be adjusted approximately every 4-6 weeks, with extra appointments needed periodically to repair broken brackets or add more brackets. These appointments normally last 30-45 minutes. In order to provide you the best care possible these procedures will not be performed by orthodontic assistants.
With this plan your initial payment due at the placement of spacers is 1/4 the total fee. You would also then pay the balance monthly over the duration of active treatment. If desired, the initial payment and monthly payments may be paid with a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).
DIRECTIONS: Dr. Martin's office is on Old Hammond Highway across from Bocage Village Shopping center. It is in a complex of five dental and medical offices. Look for a sign under some trees that says ORTHODONTIST. The building you see on the street is all brick painted light green. After entering the driveway you will see the building in which Dr. Martin's office is located on the left side of the parking lot.
After completing your orthodontic treatment you will need retainers to keep your teeth straight. At first you will need to wear your retainers every night, but even after two years Dr. Martin recommends that you wear retainers one or two nights a week indefinitely to keep your teeth straight. A clear plastic retainer is normally placed on the upper teeth one or two days after the braces are removed.
