Sal joined Plandone Service in 2017 after the sale of his auto repair business in Port Washington.
I had my car inspected for the first time with Plandome service center yesterday. They were very nice, got me in quickly and got my car done in a timely manner at the end of the month when they were very busy. Couldn't have been more pleasant. We will be using them goin forward. Since I was leaving in a few days for a long trip I wanted to have Plandome Service go over my vehicle. They maintain it on a regular basis and I knew they would check it top to bottom, front to back and in and out. Fortunately all it needed was front brakes and I'm good to go. The quality and dependability of their service is why they have maintained my car(s) for years. Thank you, Peter, Sal, Andrew and Sean.

I used Plandome Service Center for the first time this week and came away very impressed. A failed alternator on my vehicle nearly left me stranded on my way home. I called Plandome Service as they were the closest to me and have an excellent reputation in the area. Sure enough, their reputation holds true. My car was taken in right away and quickly diagnosed. Sal had excellent communication and offered sound advice for what my vehicle needed. The repair was made without issue as were a few other items that were found on the initial inspection. The facility is spotless and all staff were friendly

I had an emergency late on Friday afternoon, my sons car battery was dead, and multiple engine lights were on when we finally jumped car and got it to turn over. we called Plandome they told us to get to station immediately, they changed battery ,did a computer overhaul and had car ready by nights end ,so my son could return to College in Pennsylvania the next day....everyone was so professional and courteous

I travel from California in my Honda Pilot to the East Coast to have my car work done. The Fitzpatrick Brothers, Plandome Service, are honest, amazing diagnosticians and the mechanics are impeccable! The only place we want to go for great service. I hope we have no problems in California or I’m going to have fly someone out to CA!

I went here with a nail in my tire. In the past, this is such an easy job that other mechanics didn't even charge me, just said to tip the guy who worked on the car. First he said he would need to keep it all day, they were too busy. Then he called me and told me we should just get four new tires. I know about cars, I know that my tires are perfectly fine. I said no, and he kept pushing. Then he roped into doing something completely irrelevant. Which means I had to leave my car overnight. When I went to pick it up the spare tire was in the trunk, he said he couldn't get it back in place

Fast, good and well priced service. Super convenient, too, most small things don't even need an appt. Dennis is a nice guy that gives you the honest results and never pushes anything unnecessary. Most workers seem to live locally, too, so they're not going to do anything to give themselves a bad reputation.
