I went in for my initial exam for cataract surgery. The paperwork only took about 5 minutes and my appointment began on time. The entire staff, front office and back, was very friendly and did not hesitate to answer any questions. Dr Bokosky was friendly, informative, and quite thorough. My options were discussed and we decided what would be best for me and my lifestyle. I feel confident that the results of the procedure will be the best possible for me.

John had an appointment with Dr. Taunton on Tuesday, June 22. The appointment began five minutes early.
I wonder why some patients complain about long waits. Perhaps, they didn't have an appointment.
Eye Care of San Diego is outstanding. All good comments are believable. Some of the outrageously negative reviews should be deleted. We have been happy customers there for more than 20 years.

Months later updated review after bringing my stepdad here several times and everytime the dr is conveniently running late. When I say late, I mean hours. A 2:45 apt turns into seeing the dr at 5:15pm and counting. To see so many elderly people being overbooked and underpromised just doesn't seem ethical to me. Trust between a provider and client is important. He expects patients to be respectful of his time but does not do the same for them. Why not be honest and fair and see less patients a day more spaced out providing better time management and quality of care? I legit saw elderly people

TERRIBLE customer service. We randomly called this place because my husband has advanced glaucoma and the lady who answered the phone "Pavella" (who knows if this is her real name could be a fake she gave us since she knew how rude she was being) was the worst person in customer service I have ever spoken too. She literally hung up on my husband in the middle of his questions .
We decided to reach out to our primary care provider instead to obtain a referral. We received a message from our doctor a few days later letting us know that our referral had been approved and was provided with
