Camp Nauvoo is a hidden gem featuring 86.5 secluded acres located near Placerville in Gold Country featuring a Tahoe like environment with a beautiful meadow with year round Weber Creek running through it. A perfect place for those that love the outdoors. Camp Nauvoo is a place to experience your dream wedding, family reunion, corporate meeting, company picnic, family event or simply enjoying several days of glamping/camping.
My favorite part of this trip has definitely been the sound of crickets, frogs and flowing water at night. Best camping experience! Greg and Laurie were the best hosts. They have thought of everything to set the camp site ready for campers and then they go above and beyond. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

Camp Nauvoo stands for beautiful gathering place. Our mission is for Camp Nauvoo is to be that gathering place to bring family and friends together in beautiful and natural surroundings. We will continue the tradition of tent camping but will introduce glamping with a focus on groups, family reunions and weddings.
Let us work with you to host the perfect family gathering. The full camp reservation allows you to host all your family members utilizing the lodge and kitchen. The camp features volleyball, basketball as well as swimming/fishing in the creek. The lodge features all sorts of family games including a game table and outside games such as tug-of-war rope and burlap bags for competitive races.

I'm beyond in love with this place deep in the woods. Pictures does not do this place justice.
The owner was amazing and so kind.
If your into nature & want a meadow/fairy/nature vibe THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Going to have to plan a camping trip out here with my littles and family.
No amount of words I can type can match the beauty and serene piece of land has. Definitely recharged me in a way like no other

One of my favorite camping spots of all time! My family and I really enjoyed the scenery and the surrounding campgrounds with awesome trails.
My brother and I hiked up one of the trails within camp Nauvoo and a couple in the surround camp sites outside this camp ground. The one inside camp nauvoo is an easy/medium trail with a slopes that require getting those feet grounded and gripped to stay balanced, nothing too slippery. One the slopes has a rope tied to the trees to support yourself on the way up/down.
Greg was an awesome camp host. He heally goes the extra mile if you need help settling

Camp Nauvoo is an amazing campground for people who want to put up their own tent or go glamping!
The campgrounds has great modern facilities like a kitchen, big walk in fridge, toilets and showers. There is a fire pit where you can have a campfire and through the middle of the campgrounds runs a lovely creek where kids can swim.
The campgrounds are located on the outskirts of Placerville so a town is nearby for groceries but you'll have no trouble from traffic nearby.
