Adrienne Ferrante loves working with children. She has a background in early education and is a tutor specializing in teaching beginning reading and writing. She has one son that she home schooled through high school. Adrienne is water safety certified and enjoys underwater photography.

Services
We stayed at Kona Coast Resort. We called Aloha Nanny so we could have a night out without our two boys (5 & 7) Our older son is usually slow to warm up to new people, but he was immediately drawn to Adrienne. She engaged both boys in conversation so quickly that they hardly noticed when we left! The next day, they told us of all the fun things they'd done with her, and asked when she was coming back.

We used Aloha Nanny for our trip to the Big Island in August. Adrienne was responsive and helpful and she sent us the BEST nanny, "GiGi" for our kids (2 & 3 y.o). GiGi brought tons of toys and made sure to send me updates and pictures regularly. She was very prompt as well as helpful. It's always concerning to leave your babies with strangers, but I felt comfortable with GiGi watching our kids, especially with the pictures and updates.

We used Adrienne to watch our two little ones while we went on an excursion. We communicated clearly that we needed her at our hotel at a specific time, and that she could not be late. The night prior I asked if I needed to make any special arrangements for parking or for her to get to our room at the hotel. I was assured that she needed nothing and would arrive 5 mins early. She didn't. She arrived 10 mins late, blaming the rain and hotel shuttle. Our kids liked her and she arrived with a big bags of toys to entertain them. When we returned to our room both kids were napping. We paid

Adrienne is like Mary Poppins, she swoops in with age appropriate toys and enthralls! My 8 year old loved her! He has ADHD and I forgot one of his meds, but Adrienne just handled it with ease. She did homework with him and read with him, which was quite nice. I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is excellent with children.

She was our night time sitter for couple of nights when we were at Kona and I highly recommend her. She is very nice to work with, very accomodating, prompt. She took very good care of our kids when we stepped out and sent us updates on our phones.
She also comes with a bag of toys/books but since my kids were asleep they didn't use them.

It's hard to fly into a new environment and leave the kids with someone new. Like any parents, we were nervous, but the moment we met and spoke to Adrienne, all apprehension melted away and we were able to go enjoy some adult time, knowing that the kids were having a great time.
For two different visits to Kona, we had Adrienne watch our kids for several evenings while we went out to dinners. The first time, we only had a 3-yr-old. We were there for three weeks and Adrienne watched our daughter 4-5 times.
