Principal and Owner, Emilie Kyle, is a NCIDQ Certified Professional Interior Designer who earned her certification and passed the LEED exam, both in 2009. She has experience in residential design and has worked at several highly-ranked, local Washington, DC area commercial interior design firms, as well as a nationally-ranked hospitality design firm on the West Coast.
Her experience working on large-scale projects and government contracts, tenant improvements and remodels, gained her the expertise to launch LUSH Interior Design LLC. Project Manager, Catherine Shuman, has over a decade of experience in a wide variety of roles in construction, architecture and interior design.

We'll meet live face to face on video over Zoom and we can answer your questions, or you may share what you've put together, and show your space to us.
Our Day of Design is a great solution for that person who is having difficulty refining remodeling ideas or needs help pulling together a room. Five hours of one-on-one time for design and shopping in the Washington, DC area with your designer allows you to spend part of your day styling your living room, bedroom, family room, or other area that needs a bit of focus.
We can help you select exactly what you'll need for your project. We have checklists that we work from, we meet and get to selecting options right from the get-go. We waste no time pulling options and creating conceptual options that translate directly into specific finish and fixture estimates that you can take directly to your General Contractor to use on your project.
