TriVistaUSA an award-winning, family owned, design/build residential contractor in Northern Virginia and Washington DC. The house was old, the basement was dark and cramped, they wanted more room and a more modern feel. What to do? Simple - gut it and start over. No room was spared in the creation of this custom home, and the finished project most certainly shows elements of contemporary design and pro craftsmanship.
From our initial meeting through scheduling construction of your custom design build project, TriVistaUSA is transparent about our process. We make sure to listen and understand our clients' concerns, integrate their needs and desires into a cohesive design and build plan, and make sure to get client sign off on budget and schematics and any adjustments needed throughout the project.

We like to say, "We do cool projects for cool people." Our projects are larger in scale and typically take a few months to a year to produce. We have a small tight-knit team that enjoys working together so for this position, we really need to find the right fit. We are looking for a Director of Design-Senior Architect with extensive residential experience.
We have a strenuous training program, but once you are part of the team, you'll love your job and laugh more than you have in a long time, maybe ever. You'll work hard and be extremely proud of the complex problems you solve, the designs you call your own, the clients you call friends and the team you call peers.

Trust. That is the word that stands out to me when I think of TriVista. We had difficult experiences with contractors during our previous two large home renovation projects. Given the considerably larger scope of this latest project and our past experiences we were, at best, apprehensive going into the process of finding a builder/designer for our addition.

I cannot say enough about TriVisaUSA- they have been fantastic thoughout the process (including being very patient with me when there were some speedbumps during COVID), expertly handling the condo board process and working day to day within the condo rules and regulations and with the building manager. The work they do is top notch and the subs they work with are genuinely talented and- across the board- dependable and pleasant people to be around. The whole team was exceedingly responsive whenever I had a question or concern.

But this renovation was about a lot more. We were building a new family. Six years after my daughter Caroline’s mother died, I had gotten remarried. And the house really didn’t work for our new family. The biggest problem--there was no place where we could be together. The main floor didn’t have an integrated area where we could share meals or watch a movie. The three of us tended to retreat to separate spaces.

Super easy to work with.. and they worked really well with our condo management people - which was key to everything going smoothly. They did a great job of sitting down and talking to us about what we wanted - we had problems figuring out exactly what we wanted the renovations to look like, but they sat down and talked to us to see what we needed and why we wanted things the way we did. When we had trouble articulating it, they sat down and kinda pulled it out of us. In the end they had some pretty creative solutions to get what us exactly the kind of renovation we wanted. And they had some good
