Ken McDaniel and Red Broadhurst have worked together on various projects for over a decade. They have a combined 40 years experience in fast paced dealership environments, and look forward to bringing friendly, quality service to you. Ken is a Honda Certified Master Technician. Only 15% of all Honda technicians ever achieve this status through the American Honda Training Center.
In his free time, he enjoys boating, cooking and playing with his dogs. Red is an ASE Certified Master Technician and trained hundreds of prospective technicians during his time as an instructor in the automotive program at Cape Fear Community College. He and his wife Heather enjoy boating and spending time with their four children.

Hands down best repair shop in the Wilmington area. I had a time-sensitive situation, trying to catch a flight, when my car broke down. It was 3:30 on a Friday, and I needed specific parts. Coastal Autoworks had the situation solved within two hours even though it meant they had to stay late. They went above and beyond and were reasonably priced. Customer service was incredible. I would highly recommend them.

I'm new to the area and was searching for a place with decent pricing and that wouldn't tell me everything under the sun needs to be fixed. My car is older and I know it could use a lot of upgrades but I took my car in due to a grinding noise around lunch time and they had it fixed by 5. I was beyond impressed with how fast they were and how nice they were with serving me the bad news. I will definitely be a loyal customer here and feel like I can trust them to keep my old girl rolling.

I was returning to Raleigh from Wilmington and had some engine trouble. I was too far out of Wilmington to get back there with the current state of my vehicle so I stopped off in Castle Hayne and was lucky enough to meet the guys at Coastal Autoworks.
They initially told me it would be a day or two before they would be able to get my SUV fixed, but after finding out I was heading back to Raleigh they graciously agreed to take a look. A few hours later I was all fixed up and back on the road! I can't thank them enough, and I highly recommend the team at Coastal Autoworks for anyone in the area

These guys are great I owned and have been in the new and used car business my entire life in another county and I am use to getting my vehicles fixed by the best local mechanics, a long weeding out process, when I decided to stay in Wilmington I would take my cars back to my home town, 5 hours round trip, to get my cars fixed but a former coworker of theirs recommend I give them a shot and I did and now I take all my local cars to them. If I had a lot here in Wilmington they would be my go to mechanics they make things work the way they should and not needlessly change expensive parts for no reason

The guys here are great and I'm so thankful for everything they did on my Ram Promaster. I had a week worth of work on my van that needed to be done in one day for my drive across the country and these guys made it happen. They were communicative and honest. Truly, the best repair shop I've ever been to.

I trust Coastal Autoworks with all my vehicle maintenance and repairs. They are locally owned and operated and highly professional and knowledgeable. They are honest and will look out for your best interest! I referred my Dad and Sister to Coastal and they have earned their business as their go-to mechanics as well! They even installed my bike rack/trailer hitch! I cannot more highly recommend this company!

This is a wonderful place that helps in anyway they can.. they have looked after my girls , my mother and myself for a couple of years now. And just today they went above and beyond to help my oldest daughter to get the most out of her extended warranty by staying on the phone for over an hour with them!!! She is a graduate student and needs every penny ... plus needs a dependable car to get her to and from work.!!! They keep us on the road safely and always find a way to work us in to their busy schedule... we appreciate all of you and your work ethics and knowledge!!!
