Negative stars. Haven't been in a few years and decided to try them on a Friday night. The entire restaurant is run down. The entrance, patio and bathroom are on the verge of disgusting (and I love a good dive bar).
I've never not been able to eat my meal at a restaurant until this experience. Dripping in old oil from the fryer, ice cold fries, stale bread and gray meat. They should be shut down.
I understand covid has the industry tight for service but this was beyond that. Service was very slow because of understaffing which I get but this woman had no clue what she was doing.

My husband and I stopped in at Northside for a casual dinner on the cozy patio. We are always made to feel most welcome here by owners John and Linda. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had delicious nachos (super fresh), lemony salmon (one of my favorites), and yummy homemade desserts. All topped d off by refreshing cocktails and iced tea. The prices are reasonable and the menu has something for everyone. We really like Northside and definitely recommend!

We know ahead of time that service here will be slow, but tonight convinced me that they don't need, or want, my money anymore. We arrived at 6:30. Food was ordered by 7:00pm. Appetizers(!) came out around 8:00pm. By 8:45, we still hadn't seen our food, despite everyone around us (and seated after us) having eaten. Some of them were on dessert!
When asked what was taking so long, the owner tried to blame the server. The server was nearly in tears. We're done here. I'll never spend another dime with Ortino's.

Just had another great meal at the Northside. Linda and John do it up right; he's behind the bar serving up craft beers and cocktails, and she works the tables with the best of them. We feasted on Mussels Dijon, BBQ Brisket (smoked in house), Meatloaf and the Chicken special. And finished it off with Linda's homemade Cocoanut Cream Pie (best ever). If you're in the area of the Northside it's a must for a great time! Never disappoints.

I hope they have turned the corner. They were really going downhill for the past few years. New menu has helped. Great beer selection. Update. This could be a great restaurant. Something lacking. Can't figure out what the problem is. Perhaps some early bird specials to get more people in. Good restaurants are few in this area. The food at North side is always good just very few people there. Also they open late and close early. Hope they figure it out.

What a wonderful evening. Had a graduation party, Penn State Class of 2019, with ten family and friends. The experience could not have been better. Linda, an owner, was our server. She is a gem. Very friendly and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their food immensely. Me especially, as I had the smoked ribs. The table also shared a number of different wonderful desserts. Have been coming here for years and will keep coming back for years to come.

It's in an out of way location, but glad we went. Sangria was awesome. Beer was cheap ($3) and good. Food was great. We had nachos and wings but probably the best nachos I had in a long time (many places mess them up!). Wings were crispy and hot! Owner came to make sure food was good. Outdoor seating was covered and nice. Will go back whenever we can.

This place is great! I eat here often and have NEVER had a bad meal. Great special menu and a must try on wing night! Prices are fantastic, service is great, and ownership is beyond friendly- always engaging with customers. Even if it’s a little out of your way, I would suggest making the trip. Enjoy!

I am a local and make visits here maybe once every other month or so. We have never had abad meal here. Their food is very yummy. I especially like the crab dip and the Shepard pie. However, I think they only have the Shepard pie in special occasions, like St Patty's day, which is the last time I had it.

OK bar. Waitress was nice. Food service was slow. There were other customers but it wasn't packed, so maybe the kitchen was short-staffed? My boyfriend & I went for a night snack so we just split a burger & fries. The burger was ok but looked & tasted like a frozen patty - nothing special. We thought prices were a little high considering this place is in the middle of nowhere & the burger didn't seem homemade. Not planning on going back unless it's for drinks. I loved Little Ortino's in Schwenksville & am sad it closed! That location had good Italian

Stopped in for dinner after a nearby appointment. There was me and one other person eating at the bar. I had soup that wasn't bad but had to wait forever to get it. My entree was pasta which again was pretty good but the less than interested server never bothered to bring bread. In fact she never came back to see if I needed anything and never even asked how everything was. Guess she was too busy with her zero other customers. And the worst part of the who experience was the bartender (who could have been the owner) who was spewing his politics with the one other customer at the bar. Don&apos

Oh, Ortinos. I had high hopes for you being only a stone's throw from my new residence.
If I was only coming for a great beer selection at decent prices I would give this place a 4.5 or 5 star review. But I wanted some good food too... and I was a bit let down.
Our waitress was great - very nice and accommodating. No complaints here. The night my wife, best friend and I went there was a live band who played some great covers. Inside seemed cozy and the bars looked pretty decent. We sat on the patio, where the band was, which was quaint and real nice on a summer night with a good beer.
