Joy Inn

This is our regular Chinese takeout spot and we have always had a good meal and good service. The meals have always been ready on time and the young lady working the phones and counter is so sweet. Tonight we all agreed that the chicken and broccoli we got from them was the best we ever had. We've always enjoyed their chicken and broccoli but tonight was exceptional! The sauce was so dark and savory and they were very generous with the sauce so there was plenty to mix in with our leftover rice. So good!

The food took forever! All we ordered was lo mein
Soup and chicken wings!! The lo mein is usually good. The service was terrible and we waited for an hour.

Not sure if they really want to stay in business for the general public. Ordered from beyond menu and they gave us 2 almost identical items. Some things were cold also. I will not be buying from them again. They didn't add any sauce or fortune cookies either.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! I ordered using beyond menu and paid with tip included (which I have done many times). I called after waiting an hour and a half with no food. At this point it was 8PM and my kids were starving, they said it would be 30 more minutes! I had to accept it since all places close early due to the virus so I couldn't cancel the order. I called back at 8:45 and the girl answered the phone and informed me I should just cancel! I was overwhelmed at this point because my kids were swarming me begging for snacks and I was exhausted. So it didnt even register she said

Yelp says 3 stars is "A-OK" which I think is a good description of this Chinese American restaurant.

Been coming here for my lunch break a couple times over the last few months and have ordered a few different things for myself and my girlfriend. Kung-Pao Chicken with Peanuts, Hunan Chicken, Bourbon Chicken, Pepper Steak with Onions, Beef Lo-Mein, Tofu Vegetable Soup, and Wonton Soup.

To be honest, the different chicken dishes all pretty much taste exactly the same. The quality of the meat itself is very good, but everything seems to always taste under seasoned. The lo-mein was not

Food was ready on time. Ordered online to go but the seating area looked fairly clean so I wouldn't mind eating in at some point. You have the option to pay online or upon pickup. Huge lunch portion, definitely worth the price.They don't specify but the soup is wonton unless otherwise noted. You can swap out the rice for lo mein upcharge. Fried rice was a little bland but otherwise great experience.

Eaten here twice, first time was ok and I was happy with the food. Second time as legitimately disgusting, we were the last order on a Sunday night and the egg rolls tasted reheated, my BEEF lo mien tasted like FISH So badly I took one bite and threw it out, I haven't been back since.
I'll give it another go since the first time was ok but don't order late! There isn't any great Chinese food around so don't expect anything fantastic

Super nice people and good food. FAST delivery!! Wow! I'm impressed with their service. A few things could be done a little more carefully but I really don't have any complaints.:)

Satisfying menu, short wait times and low cost. What more could you ask for? I've never ate in but the way it's set up is very cute, not over the top like some Chinese restaurants can be.

I ordered online, and I got a call within 5 minutes as I entered my number wrong. So they have fixed any issues with the online ordering. The food came extremely quick. Under 10 mins. I got a shrimp dish, and was surprised and happy to see a plethora of huge shrimp in a tasty sauce. I haven't seen shrimp like this since I lived in New Orleans. Solid choice here!

Delivery never showed up after 2 hours of waiting. Terrible experience! You lost customers for life Joy Inn.

Tried to order online at their website. Completed transaction including paying with my credit card. After over an hour of waiting, I called them and asked where my food was. They sounded confused. I explained that I ordered online.....and he said "Oh no". They tried to convince me that they would have it to me in 30 mins more. I declined and cancelled my order. I will never order or eat from the Joy Inn again!

Why have online ordering on your website if you aren't going to make people food when they order it from you?

Best Chinese in pennsburg. Always good quality food. I love trying something different on the menu.
