We appreciate all feedback from the families we serve so that we can better understand how to improve our services. How would you rate your service with our funeral home? The staff here are so friendly and helpful. I contacted them to ask if they would help me separate ashes for me when I've never even used their services and they did it free of charge.

Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.

I would like to thank everyone at Jones Funeral Home, particularly Sonya, who looked after us so well. We came to Virginia from the UK to be with our son in his last weeks of life. We were unfamiliar with the way funerals are arranged here in the US but the team at Jones’ guided us through it all and made things as pain free as possible. Sonya was kind and thoughtful as well as professional. We could not have asked for more. I am more than happy to recommend this familybusiness to anyone needing their services.
