All three owners started their funeral career with the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes and we are delighted for this opportunity to expand our professional funeral services to Haywood, Crockett and surrounding counties. We are proud to be a locally owned small business that is dedicated, professional and experienced in serving all of our families.

We will still continue to operate all 3 locations in their current facilities and under the same names. If you have already prearranged your funeral with us at Brownsville & Bells Funeral Homes, your preneed will remain the same and valid with the same insurance company. As more families choose cremation as a means of final disposition, Lea & Simmons Funeral Group saw the need to add another facility to serve the needs of our families.
Services
Lea & Simmons funeral home was started in Oct of 2009. This has been a longtime dream of ours to open our own funeral home. We were all born and raised in Haywood County. Our firm is locally owned and operated, therefore we are dedicated to be the most ethical, professional and caring funeral service provider in our profession.
We stand behind our reputation and will continue to serve our community with the values instilled by our funeral directors. The Brownsville Funeral Home is a spacious facility located just off the square in Brownsville, Tennessee. In 1945, Gilliam Jones purchased the business and operated it for three years before selling to his nephew, Fred Jones.
