Dr. Hwang grew up in Norwalk, CT. His extensive education began with an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Cornell University and a master's degree in molecular biology from the University of Connecticut-Storrs. After working as a high school science teacher and as a research assistant, Dr. Hwang earned his doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
As a general practice, we offer comprehensive dental services for the whole family. From restorative to cosmetic dentistry, and everything between, we offer multi-generational care and a broad range of treatment options so you can attain healthy teeth and gums. Dr. Hwang and his experienced staff are committed to staying current in the latest advances in the dental field through constant continuing education courses and seminars.

We are providers with Delta Dental, Anthem, United Healthcare, and Cigna. We are also providers for HUSKY (state insurance) and accept HUSKY for patients of all ages. We accept payment in cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover), and check. We are pleased to work with CareCredit for financing in easy monthly payments with little or no interest.
In my seven years of being a dentist, I often hear from patients that they don't think their teeth are important. I always hear "It's just teeth." In reality, teeth and the entire mouth are part of the body just like any other part of the body and it is not possible to have a healthy body with a diseased mouth.

I went to see Dr Wong and Debra for a cleaning and let's just say I feel like I can advertise for a toothpaste commercial. When I first called the staff was very friendly and professional. They were able to set up an appointment for within the week and sent me a preliminary web form for me to fill out. They were very good in making sure measures were in place to protect me as best as possible from any COVID-19 They had me call the office upon my arrival to let them know I arrived and they would let me know when they were ready for me to come inside. The general cleaning was well done, got x-rays, and was in and out rather quickly. I look forward to continuing my dental visits with Dr Hwang.
