We are currently operating out of the Eagles Lodge 4372 building and provide dining-in, carry out, and catering.

Our cuisine has roots from the southeastern United States. ShoNuff Foods started in 2005 in Bremerton, Washington, after years of catering to friends and doing weddings all over Whidbey Island and Bremerton, Washington. The husband and wife team of Fred and Barbara Bennett wanted to show the great Northwest how good Southern food was done.

We are in town for a wedding this weekend and ShoNuff catered the rehearsal on Friday and WOW! The BBQ was out of this world! We enjoy the brisket, chicken, macaroni, rolls, quinoa salad.... I was so stuffed after I couldn’t stop refilling my plate! I would highly recommend this company for any catered party.

Wasn't sure how to rate a place I don't intend on eating at again, but I gave it 3 stars because the guy working there was friendly. I swung by yesterday after my wife's doctors appointment to see what so many of my friends have been calling "the best bbq in town".
Too much hype. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of mac. The mac was *okay*, but extremely bland and not so cheesy. The brisket was fatty and *super* dry. The bbq sauce wasn't anything to write home about, but made the dish only slightly better.

I've heard from a few friends of this bbq truck, and was inclined to give it a try. I arrive sometime in the afternoon around 4. Now, I do not know if they smoked the meat throughout the day, or what I received was from an older batch, but I ordered a rack of ribs and 1Ib of brisket. The ribs were alright, decently seasoned and smoked, My issue was with the brisket, I order a pound and what I received was roughly 2/3 fat and 1/3 meat which was cut "with the grain" versus "against the grain" making it almost uneatable, I.E. a chew mess. It was a shame as I paid $16 a pound

I'm pretty picky about my bbq. BBQ pork was good. Ribs were good. Brisket was ok but so much fat that I couldn't enjoy it. Macaroni and cheese was good. Collard greens were good, a little vinegary for me...I like them a little spicy. Was not a fan of the red beans and rice. Cornbread was very dry. Staff very nice and friendly.

If you have them cater watch that you get your food that you pay for. We got only half the meat, chicken we paid for. Then I kept asking for more chicken and the owner kept telling me it was still cooking..it cook for hours an by then none of my guest were still hungry. Then some of the employees helped themselves to our personal party items an that was stealing!

For my first time eating there I think it was a good place to get some food. I had the ribs and brisket which was awesome.. the collard greens and Mac and cheese was ok not to much to rave about. People were friendly and the price was good....I will certainly be a repeat customer until I find something better.

Update-To Randy W. Below...Numerous BBQ options in Oak Harbor? You are taking about Oak Harbor, WA right? The only other BBQ option is Oak Harbor is BBQ joint, and they want WAY too much money for not very much food. You cannot get the amount of food in a combo with a drink included for the same price anywhere else. Maybe you are talking about the McRib at McDonalds in terms of BBQ options here..cause there arent any others! Stick with Shonuff.
