If left untreated over time myopia can put the eyes at risk for a number of vision-threatening conditions including retinal detachment, early cataract development, macular degeneration, glaucoma and even blindness. There is abounding literature supporting the correlation between myopia preogression and excessive screen time/near work.

I visited Wee Pediatrics recently for an eye exam for my youngest child. My daughter has some pretty significant special needs and Dr. Scatchell did a really impressive job with her. She was incredibly patient and had such a knowledgeable understanding of our spec needs. Not only that, but we got these quality frames that are an excellent fit and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I ended up purchasing transition lenses and they were still priced better than our previous pair!! I highly recommend Dr Scatchell and the glasses they sell here.
