In 2002 we added a beautiful and spacious indoor gym where children can enjoy sporting activities when the weather outside is uncooperative. Sunny Ridge Kids was founded in 1972 and has been serving the greater Madison community for over forty years. Here at SRK we understand that childhood is an important, formative time when children need loving guidance, positive social interaction, and a safe environment.
Sunny Ridge Kids offers caring, compassionate, and quality child care for children ages 0 - 12. Our greatest priority for each child in our care, is to develop the "whole person" by addressing their spiritual, emotional, social, and physical well being. A trained and qualified staff that is educated in keeping with State Licensing Regulations.

Services
Infants and toddlers learn and grow by experiencing the world through their senses (sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell) and by way of social interaction. These interactions are critical for the forming of a child's healthy self-esteem. Infants and toddlers develop a sense of trust through warm, positive relationships with adults.
Our two-year-old and three-year-old programs are designed to give your child a strong beginning to their journey of learning. Our primary focus is to help each child identify and regulate their emotions, and teach them how to interact cooperatively with their peers. Your child will participate in activities pertaining to social growth and the establishment of small and large motor skills.
We offer an outstanding pre-school program creatively designed to give your child a strong foundation in learning to help equip them for their kindergarten experience. If your child is enrolled in the MMSD 4K Program, we offer transportation to and from various local schools. Please contact us concerning transportation information.
Our School Age program is designed for children, kindergarten through 12 years of age. We provide before and after school transportation to various schools in the Madison area. As well as full-day care on planned days off of school. We have a full-size gymnasium for free play and sporting activities, and offer designated homework and craft times in the classroom throughout the week.

My experience with Bethesda/ Sunny Ridge Kids has been excellent these past 21 months.
When I was pregnant i started looking for quality childcare early. I found Sunny Ridge and when I called, Trina offered to give me a tour the same day. I enrolled my 10 year old into their summer camp weeks later, and he enjoyed their youth programming. My baby started when he was 3.5 months old.
One of the things that I love about Sunmy Ridge is that I feel like they work with my preferences as a parent. I exclusively breastfed my baby, and they welcomed me to bring milk daily and keep a small frozen supply

We've taken our 2 year old here since she was 3 months old and we've had nothing but positive experiences. So much so that we're excited to take our upcoming child to Sunny Ridge.
To me, the best way to sense you've got a good daycare is by your child's emotions. From a very young age, our daughter would shake her arms and smile every morning as we dropped her off. Even when we have a tough time getting her up in the morning, all we have to do is ask her if she wants to go see her friends/teachers and she perks up. The staff members here truly care, unlike some of the other "branded daycares"

My 4 kids were all raised by the staff at Sunny Ridge Kids (Bethesda when we were there). I was a single mom and was so overwhelmed when they were younger, I am not sure where we would be as a family if it wasn't for the leadership and staff that not only took care of my kids by loving them, but they loved me unconditionally. I had a frightening experience with an in-home provider when my oldest child was 2 years old. I walked into Bethesda the following morning and my son was enrolled immediately and I was able to continue to work without having to worry about his well being. My 2nd son had many

I absolutely love this place. My family started our experience when my oldest children we 3 and 4, they are now 10 and 11. Now my youngest is 3 and attends. I drive everyday from the south Madison to the daycare then finally to work in Middleton. I make this trip everyday because I know my child is in good hands.

No one loves your child like you do. In fact, I believe that most women (given the opportunity) would choose to stay with their children during their first few years of life, instead of leaving them to be cared for by others. This was certainly the case for me after 12 weeks of maternity leave. I felt like I had barely gotten to know my little girl, and it was already time to leave her to go back to work.
I put a lot of time and research into selecting a daycare provider for my daughter. I pulled public reports, checked into policies, visited a lot of places, and asked a lot of questions. It was

I'm very surprised to read the two negative reviews because my children have been going to Sunny Ridge Kids for over 10 years and it has been nothing but a positive experience. I have a 10 year old and 8 year old and we enrolled the eldest when he was 3 months old.
The nursery teachers are so caring, dedicated, loving, and knowledgable. Some have been working in the nursery for over 20 years and there were countless times when, with their years of experience, they gave me invaluable advice (still thankful for the Dr. Brown's bottle suggestion...). My youngest needed Birth to Three for speech therapy

I can't put into words how much the staff cared about our children and our whole family. We went through some very difficult struggles with our youngest, who was diagnosed with autism. The staff worked very closely with us to help in any way they could. They truly loved our kids and wanted the best for them. Both of our kids were blessed to have Ms. Trina as a teacher. The entire staff was supportive, even with the obstacles our son faced. We are still fortunate to stay in touch with the great staff and my daughter is a senior and my son is a sophomore this year. They still say the prayers before

I have to agree with Benjamin, do not take your children to Bethesda (now Sunny Ridge Kids). When we first enrolled our children at the center a few years back, it was run under a different director that we had no issues with! As soon as Debbie and Trina took over as co-directors, the center went down hill FAST! Neither Debbie nor Trina are competent enough to run a center so there is absolutely NO communication, neither one of them have a clue as to what is going on. We had no issues with the teachers while we were enrolled, but there was a lot of staff turn over that we were never told about

I attended Bethesda Child Care as a child. I remembered it being such a positive experience that I decided to work there as well. I have been working at Sunny Ridge Kids (previously Bethesda Child Care) for over 10 years now, and all three of my children have attended daycare there. I felt so comfortable with the nursery staff especially, since two of the three teachers (Diane and Theresa) have been working there for over 20 years. They are amazing women who love what they do and are passionate about caring for other people's most prized possessions. Two of my children have gone off to school now

The woman who manages this facility is very lovely, however there are some problems with the way the teachers run the facility. When I first visited this daycare, the kids were watching TV. I was told that this was a "sometimes treat." After my little one attended for a few months, I discovered there was an everyday television viewing activity for several hours. I did not like my little one coming home every day full of energy because of the extended time spent with the TV.
