Little Explorers Nature Center Preschool is a privately owned and run business created by Bob and Darlene Davis. They believe that children deserve more than just adequate childcare and hope to significantly raise the bar on what a preschool can aspire to be.
Bob comes from a technical background as a former electrical engineer and utilizes his technical expertise, creativity and excitement for early childhood education towards the design of the facility and learning environment, defining of the programs and philosophies and management of the business.

Getting the children prepared for kindergarten is an essential part of the Little Explorers Preschool Program. Our program is structured to help your child develop all of the necessary tools to excel in Kindergarten and later education. However, life is not just about academics.

Little Explorers offers tours of our facility and campus by appointment Thursdays and Fridays between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Please call 837-6100 ext. 205 to schedule a personal tour. Little Explorers Nature Center Preschool is conveniently located at 5218 Reiner road in the town of Burke just one parcel east of the Madison city limits.
There are lots of new animal friends to meet, touch and care for at Little Explorers Nature Center Preschool. Animals are a great deal of fun for children. It is something new to get excited about. There is also a great deal we can learn about animals: how they change, what they eat, how they protect themselves or how they communicate.

My daughter attended here ! I choose Little Explorers, first due to their "above the norm" -Food Allergy Policy! They are a peanut-free facility. The staff is up to date and trained in all areas of food allergies. Darlene Davis has a wonderful reputation and I was so impressed with Ms Patti during my tour. Our time at Little Explorers has been incredible. My daughter is so excited and ready for kindergarten. Her education was excellent but even more importantly, her life lessons and experiences at "her school" were more than I could of hoped for. My children have a love for animals( I am more afraid
