Extremely pleased with the quality of the roof replacement by Franco. Other homes in our area used another contractor for their roof replacement and a few months later had problems with their roof. With Franco, we did not. From using chalk lines, to weaving the shingles in the valleys of the roof, to the crew using safety lines; all truly professional.

This went very well, from first contact to cleanup. Daniel from Franco Contractors called shortly after I clicked the submit button to find roofing contractors, and came out within three days for the quote.
Pardon the run on sentence: Remove old shingles/felt, repair any damage with four plywood sheets included, quality brand name 40 year shingles, new felt, new vents, new drip edge, new freeze protection, new pipe collars with double gaskets, new ridge vent, fix my ham-fisted attempt at venting a bathroom fan, seal the masonry where it protrudes from the roof, and repair some gutters and rotten wood on a window.
The price was very reasonable, and below what I was told to expect, so I signed. I’ve never had to get a roof before, so I’m in somewhat uncharted territory.
Daniel scheduled for the 27th of April, but had to push to the 30th because of weather, justifiably. The 30th arrived, and the project was wrapping up when I returned from work.
I was seriously impressed with how fast and professionally this crew replaced the bad plywood, fixed a bad joist, corrected other anomalies, and then installed this roofing system.
Then the cleanup started. What I saw: First, they walked the property with magnets and recovered any debris. Then they removed any remaining dust/construction materials. They also cleaned and tightened the gutters. I walked the property after they finished, and I can’t find anything out of place. As a matter of fact, it’s cleaner than it was the day before.
Professional, fast, thorough, and excellent pricing. Not only would I contract with them again, I most certainly recommend them to anyone reading this review.
