As a young child, Dr. Lisa (Yuehui Li) Zhou learned acupuncture from multiple generations of her family; a long line of traditional Chinese doctors. This is where she found her passion for not only acupuncture, but her compassion in caring for her patients. She went on to twelve years of schooling, receiving two MDs in both traditional Chinese medicine and Gynecology.

Acupuncture is an ancient form of medicine which involves the insertion of fine needles into a person's skin at specific points of the body. This is to manipulate the flow of energy-also called Qi and pronounced as "Chi". Acupuncture began in China almost seven thousand years ago and still widely used today as an accepted form of conservative treatment.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Lisa (and also her husband who helps in the office and with scheduling). These are two of the most genuinely nice people I have ever experienced in health care. Not only are they kind and funny, but they have gone above and beyond to help me with my acupuncture before and during pregnancy. Answering texts during off hours, getting me appointments when I needed them extremely last minute, once Dr Lisa even came in on her day off to help me in an emergency. I have never had a doctor go so above and beyond for the well being of the patient. And it works!

I hope that some people get help here. I didn’t (for back pain) but I continue to believe in the value of Chinese medicine. Unfortunately, from start to finish it was about squeezing money out of patients. Who charges a patient $30 to turn on a heat lamp? Really? I walked out the door of my first visit with a bill for $300, everything extra. I’m sure the doctor and her husband are good people but they do a disservice to Chinese medicine by treating it like a timeshare sign-up.

Total scam didn't do a thing we spent 3 times what others charge plus after we paid them each time in full from my wifes medical account they proceeded to charge the insurance company another $1,600.00 on top of the $4,500.00 they charged for nothing therapeutic. The teas they never told us what was in it and what we should expect by drinking this wretched tea. Overall their scam artists. The seem humble and simple but in all honestly they're devious and should have their degrees revoked . There are ethical standards and they don't even come close. my left elbow area twitches from

I went to Dr. Lisa on a verbal recommendation even though I was already seeing an acupuncturist. I decided to try someone else because of her reported specialty in female health. Her services are VERY expensive and she had me coming 6 days a week. Having had experience with acupuncture before, I can say that her needling technique is very hard and painful. I was often left in pain and bruised. Having said that, I gave it a long try - 6 days a week for about 2 months....and did not have a single improvement. I am not saying that she should have cured a lifelong concern that quickly but I do feel

Dr. Li is a true master of her craft. She listens intuitively and within moments she is able to pinpoint where the pain is originating from and knows immediately how to help the area. After each session I feel a very noticeable improvement. My pain levels have dropped drastically and I know without question she will help give me back a pain free life. I went to Dr Li on a referral from my chiropractor for a neuroma in my left foot causing pain when I walk. Dr Li convinced me that I should have an all over body treatment. I think I can tolerate pain fairly well, the first visit was okay but the second visit was VERY painful. I have bruises up and down my body. Friends who have had acupuncture tell me it never hurt that bad and they never had bruising. She wanted me to continue. I never did have relief from my foot pain. The cost was just too much for me to continue.

I went to see Dr Lisa for pain in the area of my scapula and trapezius which I believe to have been aggravated by sleeping in the wrong position. On the first visit, I was shocked at how quickly it became about the money. There was a menu of services that included a full body exam. Having had a recent physical from my primary doctor, I elected to get to work on what I was there for, my shoulder. The reviews about being "money hungry" are pretty accurate. It's not a free consultation , it's a free introduction to Dr. Lisa. A free consultation would consist of being evaluated and then discussing options of how she could help me. Dr. Lisa didn't even introduce herself, just walked in, left the door open, and asked what is my issue, and then suggested I purchase an evaluation and purchase three treatments for today that would total almost $300! I want to say first and foremost, I have received acupuncture for many years for any exacerbations ( flair ups) since 1977, when I went to Ju Lin King for 20 years.
I was most disturbed that Lisa had me sign and arbitration set of papers?? Never had to do this before.
Her prices our outlandish, and she made me feel as if I was getting a great deal.
The treatment was painful ( which I have never had in the past) at it was no where near what
I have had from physicians in the past.

For quite awhile, I have been suffering with extreme hot flashes. On average, I'd get 10 hot flashes a day! Natural supplements weren't working for me and I did not want to be on a hormone replacement. After seeing acupuncture on the Dr. Oz show, I thought I'd give it a chance. However, I was very concerned to start treatments because I have been diagnosed with BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo), which means I can get dizzy at anytime. To my surprise, the first day of treatment was the first day I was hot flash free in 18 months! Dizziness has never been an issue because Dr. Lisa knew how to help

I have been having severe migranes for as long as I could remember and eating all kinds of over the counter and prescription drugs to ease them. Finally after getting referred to Dr. Lisa from a friend, I decided to do something about it. I wished I had done it sooner. I just felt so much better after my first treatment. At first, I could only understand half of what Dr. Lisa was saying b/c of her English, but I could feel that she was very skilled and knowledgeable. After several visits though, and I got to know her better, she is funny and warm. Highly recommend Dr. Lisa b/c she really knows

Dr. Lisa is really incredible - very talented. She helped me quit smoking - something that I haven't been able to do for many years. It is literally not a problem anymore. Even more surprising, I did not gain weight quitting, which is almost unheard of. I had little to no cravings when quitting - really amazing! She is the absolute best in the area. I always came out of my appointments feeling really, really good. I do believe it was pretty costly - perhaps more than others in the area - but for what you get it is worth the price. The treatments changed my life, and very much for the better
