Acupuncture to balance hormones for lack of menses, painful periods, irregular periods, peri-menopause, menopause, or PMS. While relief may be felt after the 1st session, 3 months of weekly sessions are best to create lasting change. Moxibustion, cupping, and herbal medicine are also available additional cost to enhance effects.

I was new to acupuncture when I came to Tamara. After a long road of infertility, I decided to incorporate acupuncture as I transitioned to IVF treatment. I wasn't sure what to expect, but my experience here has been amazing. Tamara is kind and compassionate, and goes above and beyond for her clients. After two years of trying to conceive, I am finally 8 weeks pregnant, and I really feel that acupuncture has helped me get to this point. I've been receiving acupuncture for almost 30 years and I've had numerous practitioners. I have to say that Tamara has provided me the best experience. First, her office is amazing! She has managed to treat all of the senses, except taste. She has soothing music (you can choose what you listen to), aromatherapy (you can choose not to do this if you're sensitive), a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere, the perfect balance between a doctor's office and a spa, singing bowls, and I'm sure much more. Hands down, the best acupuncture treatment I've ever gotten! Tamara is very kind and compassionate and attends to all your needs. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. The atmosphere in both the waiting and treatment room is very comforting and inviting. From beautiful fragrance of therapeutic essential oils, to infrared light and sound baths, this was a mesmerizing experience! Tamara is a gifted and compassionate healer that I feel blessed to have found. This is my first experience with acupuncture and I appreciate the way Tamara talks as she works, asking questions and explaining what she is doing while also carrying on a more mundane flow of conversation. In anycase, I decided I needed to give it a go as i'm struggling with fertility and if nothing else, could use a good relaxation session.
I found Tamara through a web search and after reading about her, I knew she was the one - we are both from the West Coast and that somehow just felt more comfortable to me.

I had my first visit with Tamara about a few weeks ago. The atmosphere of her space was calming, cute and hip. I came for acupuncture and sound bowls. It was my first 1:1 session m; as I typically attend community acupuncture. I came to acupuncture anxious and left calm. In addition, the medical forms are very thorough which I liked. Tamara is an amazing human who does incredible work. I've had acupuncture before, so I had an idea of what to expect. Been feeling out of balance due to the state of the world, so I booked acupuncture with a sound bath. I felt so safe and calm throughout the whole appointment and very restful after the session. My first visit to Acupunktrix my wife & I attended the Full Moon Community Acupuncture and Sound Bath Workshop. It started with a lovely tea made from herbs out of Tamara's garden then she led us in Qi gong followed by an individualized relaxation acupuncture treatment. She then blessed us with a 30 minute sound bath. It was a very amazing evening! The wind kept blowing in waves outside the Bedouin tent which let the wind chimes accompany Tamara's tonal medicinal meditation. Along with prenatal acupuncture, she has also helped me overcome stabbing firey pain from sciatica, treat stress, sore neck and shoulders as well as helping me overcome a cold. She is sensitive to my needs, compassionate and treats intuitively and effectively...Not to mention that she is a pleasure to talk to and full of wisdom that she is happy to share.

I love Tamara so so much! She's a witch with the BEST magick! She's open, honest, kind and her treatments are out of this world. She's a real gift! The foot baths was sumptuous the soundscapes transcendent and the results are lower pain and movement through rough mental spots. It's like therapy for your soul.

I love getting acupuncture from Tamara. When I moved to the neighborhood I was looking for a new acupuncturist who was not just a practitioner, but a healer. I bounced around trying to find someone and have found it with Tamara. When I told her I hadn't had the results I wanted from other acupuncturists, she noticed I had an underlying problem that needed to get fixed first. I would be happy to go on about how awesome acupuncture is, and how it worked and provided me with pain relief for about a week after just one visit, but this isn't about just how wonderful that particular service is. My friends and family are sick of hearing me begin sentences with "My acupuncturist said..." so please indulge me while I gush about working with Tamara. Tamara is the best. She is super knowledgeable, incredibly smart, compassionate and capable. I went to see her for treatment of a fairly obscure ailment, something that most people have never heard of, and she knew all about it. Since my treatments, I am suffering a lot less and some of my symptoms have subsided. I chart my symptoms on a calendar and could see the decline.
A couple of other things she has treated me for that I saw instant results:

First off let me say that I don't try things like acupuncture or any other type of "alternative" medicine but I knew that western medicine was not working for me. I am a 30 year old woman who has PCOS and is trying to conceive. I found Tamara on NextDoor app. A group of people were talking about local acupuncturist and BAM there she was. I checked out her website (which is easy to navigate) and request my first appointment. The paperwork was extensive but absolutely necessary to help develop the course of treatment you'll need.
