My name is Ashley. I graduated from Kean University in May of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology/ minor in Health Education. I've been working with Dr. Wong part time since 2012, eventually becoming full-time. When I am not at Healthy Smiles, I enjoy reading a good book, and when it's summertime, you'll always find me at the beach!
From a routine exam and cleaning to full-mouth rehabilitation, our practice is equipped to handle all of your dental needs. When teeth are missing a series of changes that can impact your overall dental health and jaw function may be initiated. The adjacent teeth may start to drift or tilt into the space, and teeth in the opposing jaw may start to shift toward the area of the missing tooth.
Dr. Wong received her dental degree in 1989 from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York. She completed her general practice residency at The Goldwater Memorial Hospital. She takes interest in continuing education and is consistently learning to better herself.

I have gone to Dr. Wong/Healthy Smiles for years already. Dr. Wong corrected dental work that was poorly done by another office in Union. She also drilled out and replaced the majority of my (old) mercury fillings for which I am thankful. Did I neglect to mention that she is one of the nicest people you could meet? I highly recommend a visit to Healthy Smiles if you are looking for a dentist and live in Union or the area surrounding Union. There is good parking across the street (free parking) too.

BEWARE OF THE “DEEP CLEANING” SCAM!!!
EXTREMELY outdated equipment!!! (Circa 1980) I now have to pay for new x-rays done with a panoramic machine in order to have surgery. The doctor was very focused on trying to get me to spend as much money as possible. She asked me if the tech had already recommended a deep cleaning. She kept preaching about the procedure. They told me a deep cleaning was necessary and they submitted it to my insurance. When I got the quote, it said it would cost me $500. I went to a different dentist and they laughed at the idea. A regular cleaning removed all of my plaque

I highly recommend Healthy Smiles. Dr. Wong has been great at guiding me through my journey of fixing my teeth, from her honest, professional advice to educating me. My recent first experience at Healthy Smiles was overwhelmingly positive! Dr. Angelique Wong made me feel confident that I was in good hands. She took time to explain to me what was going on with my dental issue and made recommendations which proved to be helpful. I also want to commend her staff. They were professional and friendly. Dr. Wong and the staff are truly amazing! My husband and I are so glad we found a dentist that we're comfortable going to. Dr. Wong explains procedures before doing anything so we know what to expect. She gives options on treatment plans and encourages us to choose the best in keeping our smiles healthy. Dr. Wong and the staff are also friendly, polite, patient and professional. I highly recommend Healthy Smiles to anyone who is looking for a dentist within the area.

I am very pleased with my recent experience at Healthy Smiles Union! I relocated from NYC to Elizabeth, NJ last year and it has taken me a while to get settled, as I still work in NYC. I finally changed insurances and switched from my dentist in Harlem to Dr. Wong's office. Dr. Wong is very gentle. The hygienists (Melissa) and staff are gracious and friendly - they all made me feel comfortable. Healthy Smiles Union makes having dental work done more efficient and less daunting. Also, very little to no wait time was a plus - I was in an out in an hour every visit!

My experience at Healthy Smiles was horrible!! The only reason I gave 1 star was because the girl who took my X-rays and the receptionist who checked me out in the end were nice. Let me explain why my experience was horrible. So first they took my X-rays 18 to be exact. In all my years of going to the dentist I've never had that many X-rays done. Then the doctor comes in and right away she starts accusing me of not flossing and made me feel like my teeth were disgusting.
