The Wauwinet

We had dinner here and the setting and service was magic. We pulled up as the sun was setting and parked under the trees near the antique cars. The trees were lit and every detail of the evening was very special.

The coziest hotel I’ve ever been to! Great location in between bay and open ocean. People are super friendly and nice, shuttle every hour to/from the town. The best part were the complementary items - trip to the light house and boat tour in the bay area.

My long time favorite! Its location, decor, and ambience is quintessentially Nantucket! Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience what makes Nantucket endearing.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at The Wauwinet and we had the most fabulous time! The staff was beyond amazing. Kathryn, our pre-arrival concierge, answered any questions we had and was able to arrange a few things before our arrival. Tiffany and the rest of the front office staff were extremely helpful and friendly. In our room, we were greeted with a lovely card and delicious cupcake to celebrate our special day! We used their shuttle to town daily, and the drivers were so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor! The service we received from both Alex and Kathryn

Although we had to move our room the day we arrived, due to a leaking air condition, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a Bayview room it was very small but pretty and well maintained. The view was fantastic! I suggest a slight reconfiguration of furniture placement to make the rooms seem more spacious. The food at Toppers was excellent. We actually cancelled some other reservations to eat there. The staff was excellent, a shout out to Jason the Sommelier, Josh, Caesar, Declan, and all the awesome staff as well the outside wait staff, including Katherine and Alex.

Superb seaside resort and events center with excellent service, food and amenities. Pricy but it's on Nantucket.

I can’t express the joy this place brought me and my wife! The perfect get-a-way to relax & recharge! It was top notch, from the impeccably kept rooms, sublime food to the remarkable service! This is an unparalleled establishment that’s in a class by itself.

I was sadly disappointed in my stay at the Wauwinet given the price point. They are surprisingly unobliging from everything from room fans to late check-out. When I attempted to contact the pre-arrival concierge to plan my trip (a touted benefit) I never even received a response.
On the plus side staff was very friendly and it is a very beautiful location. However, due to the cons I do not think it is a good value and would not plan on returning.

Loved our stay here - this place is a league in itself! The staff are amazing and we were so well looked after. The views are beautiful and the hotel itself is very well maintained and clean!

Tucked away in a peaceful relaxing setting our favorite getaway place to unplug and recharge. From day one, the warm welcome staff is attentive and super friendly throughout our stay. Toppers restaurant on site is always great and the accommodations are excellent. Thank you Wauwinet team for another great stay at our home away from home!
