The staff at Open Door Family Dental is so accommodating. When my wife was having dental pain they squeezed her in to their tight schedule for same day appointment. This is not a one time occurrence and they always listen to my wife's concerns and work hard at getting her referrals for more advanced care. They are great.

My new favorite Dentist!!! Cleaned, examination, advice on moving forward, and diagnosed something 3 former dentists have missed, which could very soon be life threatening. Got me in the same day i requested an appointment. The hygienest and people i met today were super nice, helpful, punctual and above all, listened to my concerns and issues about past negative dental experiences. Thank you!

I am very happy to have found this practice. They took me in right away when I called about severe tooth pain. Everyone, from the receptionist to billing to the technician and dentist, was kind, attentive and knew their stuff.

I’m from Washington state I am visiting my daughter‘s and mom and I broke a tooth:( my insurance would not cover it!!! so I called a dentist for help and they recommended OPEN DOORS and for the $45 special
x-rays, cleaning your teeth and polishing them :)
before they would even look at my tooth they had to do those things:) so my mouth was clean before they opened up a wound:) they did them within two hours!!! OPEN DOORS got me an appointment right away and I went from the x-ray, cleaning, and polishing, directly to have my tooth pulled because that’s what I wanted!!! All

What a bunch of caring professionals who were polite and quite caring for me and my oral health. They quickly seen me on a next day appointment and took care of an urgent problem I had. The staff even called me the next day as a follow up just to check how I was and my condition.. almost unheard of in these “quick to get on with it” times and I have already recommended their office to friends and family.. thanks again

I had a minor emergency when my crown fell off while on a road trip through Oregon. The office was able to get me in on a Saturday. Once there it was a no drama affair to get my crown fixed and get a cleaning in 1 hour and get back on my way. Everyone calmed my nerves and Susan was an awesome hygienist who was mindful of my sensitive teeth. Thank you team . You saved my trip!

I regret going to the #1 dentist in Medford. I find Dr. Schiess and his staff are amazingly friendly, welcoming, and actually care about their patients, not just their profits.
Additionally, Dr. Schiess is experienced, detail-oriented, thorough, and patient. My husband accidentally broke my nighttime bite-guard. Dr. Schiess spent nearly an hour with me trying all types of repairs, but nothing worked AND he did not charge me!
In this time of CORVID-19 stress, it's nice to find someone more concerned about the person than the profit.

40 year old male here, and I have had TONS of dental work, mostly because I was dumb when I was a kid and I have been having cavities on my cavities because of it.
Naturally I am no fan of the dentist. Found some good ones over the years, and also found some bad ones, but this crew at Open Door is by far the best I have seen. Everybody here is really happy with a great attitude and a wonderful sense of humor. In all honesty I am not understanding the negative reviews on here because I never once noticed anything negative about this place at all.
And over the last few months I have been here 7

Wow... I think you'll find my 1 Star is very valid here. I went and had a cleaning done. Then I had a cleaning done at another place, where I learned of everything open door failed to tell me! I have gingivitis and bone loss between teeth, the effects and sore feelings I was experiencing but there was Not One Mention of!! All that was said was "you should floss better"
But to learn I had actual bone loss, tarter build up, and was clear spots I was missing while flossing... made me angry I had to pay for a cleaning here! I usually get that treatment from crappy government healthcare

My favorite dentist office! The whole staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, also the quickest service I've ever had (cleanings and procedures). They were very willing to work around my schedule and are open Saturdays which is super convenient! I also was a whole hour late to my last appointment and they took me in no problem! They also have amazing payment plans and cover your cleaning fees. Seriously the best dentist in the valley.
The office is also GORGEOUS, clean and smells lovely.
