Heads up I have not had surgery (yet) but I have to say Myriam from Dr Kohan is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She has spent time with me on the phone answering all my questions and follow up emails and texts. She even managed to get me on the phone for AN HOUR LONG call with Dr Kohan who was charming, extremely knowledgeable and very thoughtful. I read his CV and he is extremely accomplished dr. - experience, research, awards, etc - he is the gold standard.

I saw Dr Kohans work on tik tok an Ig and was impressed with the results. I contacted his office through an online inquiry and was promptly contacted via text by his surgical scheduler. She said she would arrange for a virtual consultation and asked me to send some photos. I did and shortly after I received a text that the doctor had reviewed my pictures and she sent me the quote and asked when I wanted to schedule the procedure. I got a Lipo 360, with j plasma to the back and stomach. I loved how natural he leaves bodysuit but he is very pricey. I am haply I went with him but there are a lot of things I wish were better. His staffing is horrible, they never answer the phones, he was also I feel very rushed on the pre op and post op visits. Due to COVID I could also only do over text consultation so I wish I got more comfortable with him before

I've searched around for a perfect doctor for my post pregnancy tummy make over for years. Never found a perfect one that will give you most natural results. Until I came across Dr. Kohan he will never push anything on you, you tell him what you like about your self and what you don't and he will suggest a best and healthy way for you to go about it. I've been following Dr Kohen on IG for a couple of years and was big fan of his work. Well this year I finally decided it was time to get my tummy tuck. I got tummy tuck, muscle repair, and pelvic lift. It's now been almost 3 months and I am extremely happy with my results! Never thought I could like this!
I also want to mention how sweet and compassionate he is. He gave me his cell number and whenever I had any questions I would text him and he would respond almost instantly. I was having some pain and swelling (which is all normal) and he would actually text me to check up on me.

This is the best plastic surgeon in all of California. From the scheduling phase to the actual surgery, everything is well organized and they are very accommodating. I picked this surgeon because his work is Amazing and one week post op I'm so happy with the results. I will update with pics once I am fully healed :) trust me Dr.Kohan is as good as it gets ! Me and my sister wanted to book Surgery with Dr Kohan but I'm very disappointed in the customer service me and my sister wanted to book tummy tuck with Dr Kohan because we love his work he is a true artist but after sending are photos of are body we were ghosted the coordinator never reached back when she said she would my sister even text her to follow up we thought maybe she's busy and she did not respond this is unfortunate because we already have low self esteem with sharing are personal photos and for his coordinator to do that We feel very hurt.

Absolutely do not recommend him. I'm still having complications and have to undergo additional surgery to recover from what he did to me. Does not have the experience to deal with complications at all. Doesn't even own up to his own mess up!

It is strange that Dr Emil Kohan has the same reviews on RealSelf. Does all of the patients post on yelp and realself? Odd, these are copy and paste reviews. Also on realself less than 10% of the reviews include a price. I believe the doctor does good work but posts fake reviews. This is unfortunate since trust is important when choosing a surgeon. Good work and great service speaks for itself. I am curious why his patients don't post REAL reviews when he obviously delivers great curves. Also, hire help that has good service, I had a bad experience already and I have not even put a deposit

First and foremost, I've always wanted a nice curvy body/butt but never thought I could get it. After years of working out, I just could never seem to get rid of my love handles and/or build a nice booty. Since diet and exercise didn't work I began thinking about getting plastic surgery. I'm not new to getting work done but am pretty conservative and have very high standards for who I go to so I don't just jump into things.
