Full disclosure: I have not used this moving company's services (yet). I was just so impressed by AMS customer service I wanted to leave a review. Howard is a wealth of information, especially for someone like myself who has never done a long distance move. He clarified all my options, even those that didn't include his company's services. I came away from our conversation with solid information and great advice from an experienced professional in the business. Thanks again, Howard! We may be in touch depending on how things shake out with our intra-state/out-of-state move.

Many thanks to Howard and his team for their professionalism and care with moving a household of memories for our 89 year old mother, not once...but twice. It is difficult at times dealing with our aging parents, but Americas Moving, Columbia SC were very patient and understanding and put her at ease throughout the move. And, unlike many others these guys are always there when you call and happy to assist...can you imagine that! I highly recommend this team to move you and your loved ones! I requested America's Moving to ship my car (from Texas to West Virginia) and household furniture (from Florida to West Virginia). Both deliveries went very well and on time, with no delays. They shipped my household items in just one day, in spite of the extremely large distance from FL to WV. How quick! They delivered my items one day earlier than the scheduled. The drivers also did good job unloading from the truck to our apartment. The administration is responsive and makes sure everything is shipped on time, with no problem. I like their service.

4.5 stars. I have used AMS two times now for long distance moves and am about to use them again. Prices are the most reasonable for all the companies I have checked, especially for the services offered. When we moved we looked into all sorts of options, including U-Haul and PODS types of companies, and we found that America's Moving Services didn't cost that much more and included the loading and unloading.
Our belongings have been handled with care both times. The movers wrapped furniture very well and disassembled several tables (removed the legs) and wrapped each piece individually. Items have

My recent moving experience with this company was horrible. The original packers left after packing for an hour and never return. Also, our shipment was delayed for 23 days outside of the 7-14 window. No discount was given for the inconvenience and financial burden of living with no belongings for 3 weeks. They are a good company when things go well, but not worth the risk! I will never utilize their services again.
