While helping a friend move to the local area we decided to give The Milk Bar a try. We could not have been any happier!
Traci was incredible, and was able to recommend different things from the HUGE menu to each of us.
Sweet tea is exactly as it should be. The Catfish Nuggets were so fresh and light... simply perfect.
The cucumber and onion salad is a real treat if you like to try something different you will not be sorry.
The most down home, friendly restaurant I have been to in many many years. We will be going back again and again.

Great food & great service! My wife said the hot ham & cheese she had was probably the beet she's ever had. I really enjoyed my country fried chicken with "real" mashed potatoes and gravy. I tried a few of my wife's Buffalo Chips and they were really good too! It was our first time, but definitely won't be our last. If you haven't tried this small town family restaurant you owe it to yourself to try. You won't be disappointed.

The Milk Bar has excellent food at great prices served by the kindest people you'll ever meet. We've been eating here for several years now, and we always walk away happy. The vegetables are very tasty. We've also enjoyed the cheeseburger (made with real meat), ribeye, and catfish. They serve real southern food the way it's supposed to taste.

Located in the center of what is a less than idyllic main-street, the Milk Bar offers good food served by nice people. The hamburger, though advertised in the menu as a 4 ounce patty, was much larger. It tasted good- clearly fresh ground beef, but was slightly overcooked(dry). Fries tasted fine, but portion was small. Server was very nice when taking my order and discussing the menu, but did not check on me once during my meal. They also have an array of other foods including multiple vegetable options.
Decor is cute in spots but also has a somewhat industrial vibe. Price was a bit high.

I opted for the cheesesteak, with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard.
I've eaten many cheesesteaks, many places (including Gino's and Pat's). This was one of the best, ever. Spectacular. Service was attentive and friendly, too. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and split the friend chicken special...one fried breast, two veggies and a roll for $7.75. They had quite an assortment of veggies but I specifically asked which veggies were homemade. Turns out just the sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach were so we ordered those...they were delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Restaurant was clean. They have quite an assortment of ice cream as well!

ME AND MY BOYFRIEND ATE AT THIS LITTLE ESTABLISHMENT TODAY AND WHAT A TREAT! I had the meatloaf special and my boyfriend had the double breakfast burger we has cabbage and I had mashed potatoes. It was delivious, I would say if you are in the area please stop by this little shop, you won't be disapointed. Our waitress was very friendly and always kept out coffee mugs filed. It was reasonably priced as well.
