Steven with Ace Lock and Key installed door locks for our company about 6 years ago. In that time, we lost our user manual and programming code. I called Steven and spoke with him for a few minutes on the phone regarding the issue and any possible solutions. He told me he would look into it, and see if they had written down the master code when it was installed. Within minutes, he found the original documentation and was able to send me the master code and took the time to make sure I was able to reset the locks with it. I told the representative when I called that my situation was a locked room and no key. She said it would be $29 for the service call and $29 to make a new key and they would be out within the hour.
The technician was very nice and called to tell me when he would arrive (about 90 minutes later). When he looked at the locked door with no key, he explained that he couldn’t make a new key. He had to remove the current lock by drilling a hole in it and then replace it. $120 for the service call and labor and $50 for the cheap new door knob and lock! Much more than the $60 I expected. The whole job

I'm so impressed with the level of service I have received. I bought a new Schlage electronic deadbolt from Ace Lock and Key and had them install it on my front door. It looks great! I love the convenience of not needing a key to get inside. The technician that arrived was super professional, courteous, cleaned up after himself and did a fantastic job installing my lock and took the time to explain how to add or delete codes. Great experience with this locksmith company. I've been worried for over a month now about my locks being changed because there are keys floating around to our house and I was hoping I could find a reliable locksmith to do this lock change. I was very happy when a locksmith named Mike arrive at my home on time after I scheduled an appointment on the same day. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable.
