At Bates Collision, we understand that accidents can be costly, not only to your wallet, but - more importantly - to your time. The inconvenience of not having your own vehicle to get you where you need to be can be frustrating. No one is comfortable driving a rental vehicle. The employees at Bates Collision understand this and do everything in their power to get your car back to you quickly and in excellent condition.
Automobile manufacturers have created a network of qualified collision repair shops to properly repair vehicles. These manufacturers have set standards that a shop must meet and maintain in order to remain in the network. Some of these requirements involve customer service, documentation of repair process, advanced training of new technologies, and specific equipment.
Providing no one is injured or needs medical attention, the parties involved in the accident need to exchange insurance information and document any customer service phone numbers on each other's insurance cards. If you have a cell phone that takes photos, take pictures of both vehicles, documenting the areas that are damaged and those that are not.
Ford has a national body shop program that enables independent body shops to become officially certified by Ford. In order to become certified, a facility must meet Ford's stringent guidelines for technician training, equipment, and performance. We have set high standards for ourselves, strove to meet them, and are proud to have earned this distinction from Ford.

Bates Collision has repaired extensive damage on my vehicle on two separate occasions and both times the quality and professionalism has been top notch. The only thing I regret is not leaving a review the first time. I will be returning there for anything I need in the future.

It was the smoothest process I've ever had from a repair shop, Bates Collision did the job well and went above and beyond in being courteous and communicative about my repairs after my accident! Dave arranged for a rental car for me, and it was there waiting as soon as I brought in my car. Dave worked with the insurance companies directly and so that I didn't have to. He made it so easy for me! Other collision shops don't do this - I had a previous accident in Virginia where I arranged my own rental car and talked to my own insurance company many times and it was a hassle, so Bates really went

They were extremely professional and made a stressful situation less stressful. They explained things very well and kept me updated throughout the process. Overall extremely satisfied with my car! The paint job came out looking like new and I WILL be recommending to friends and family. They were so quick and polite, I am so happy my insurance company suggested I go there.

Horrible . On first pickup car was missing parts , headlight tabs were broken , hood misaligned ,on second pickup hood is still misaligned and had swirl marks all over it , does not seal properly and flutters when driven . A rubber seal is ripped , and upon doing an oil change I had a metal clip that a screw goes into just sitting on the oil change cover . I was told by 2 of my coworkers to not have them do the work , I should have listened . The building looks amazing , it’s hard to imagine such a professional looking place does such shoddy work . Another area of concern is upon doing an alignment

Wouldn’t have wanted to have any other place repair my vehicle. I really enjoyed getting notifications about where my car is in the repair process and appreciated it when you they me know that there was a back order on my parts. And the final product… wow! My car looks like a brand new one. Bates is amazing, I highly recommend going to Bates Collision for any repair work on your vehicle - you won’t regret it!

I was on a car trip from California and had an accident in Erie, PA. Bates Collision, David and his crew, took care of my car and did a wonderful repair job. They went through every detail of the repair job and double checked everything one more time, before they let me drive off the lot and start the long drive home to Los Angeles, David called me a few days later to make sure I had arrived safe and sound. Customer care at its very best!!

A minor fender-bender required some bodywork to my husband's truck. We thought he would be stuck driving a rental car for 2 weeks but Bates was so fast, he had his truck back in 1 week. The work was beautifully done and the truck looks good as new!

The professionalism and kindness expressed by John and Dave both times I had to go to Bates were exceptional. They got the job done in a timely manner, kept me updated, and were always honest with me. I appreciated the fact that they were always willing to work with me to my benefit. They aren’t like other businesses that try to get you to pay a ton of money for all these extra things, they try to save you money any way they can, and help you out the best they know how.
