If you've had a vision screening recently, you might say, My vision is fine! I don't need a comprehensive eye exam. But a vision screening provides a limited perspective on the overall health of your eyes. It's a bit like getting your blood pressure checked and not getting the rest of your annual physical.

Not patient centered. They charge $5 for a mask when the cost is 10 cents. Feels like some sort of punishment for forgetting a mask. Doctor was shaming, rude, elitist and condescending. They take insurance but if you want refraction (glasses prescription) or contacts, it is an extra $125 out of pocket and that doesn’t include any glasses or contacts. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

My husband had an eye appointment on today, we walked in and the front desk person so rudely asked do we have a mask? We responded by saying no, and once again she so rudely said Well it’s required to wear a mask in Doctor’s offices. There was not a sign posted on the door stating this policy, but to add to this horrible customer service, we ask can she give us a mask she then so rudely replied I will sell you a mask for $5 each!!!!!!! Where they do that at??? Sell something that every business is giving away for free! It was clear (20/20) that she did not want us in this office. We headed

I have been to quite a few optometrists. I took my 4 yr old daughter in to see Dr. Pastilong for the first time yesterday. She and the whole staff were wonderful. Dr. Pastilong was thorough and completely informative of what her diagnosis is and what to expect. She’s positive and it made me confident knowing she cares and is going to make sure my daughter gets the best treatment as soon as possible to correct her vision. She was also great and friendly with my 4 year old. It made my 4 year old feel comfortable and trusting. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Okay so my first visit to this hell hole was horrible!!!! Shanice the front desk person is very rude and unprofessional...she called the police on me bc i was 20 mins late to the appointment and asked to see the office manager or the doctor.. She refused me and my son services...i asked her if she is prejudice???? She is the worst person i ever came in contact with...the police came and she allowed me to keep the appointment after all the unnecessary rudeness!!! And i still dont know who the doctor is there..she didnt introduce herself nor did she include me in my 17 year old minor sons visit.

This place is nothing but a hustle from the time I got there the sales upgrades began. It’s all about the money I feel. They charged me $185 for the exam and $ 270 for some plain discontinued frames. They claim that was 35percent discount a pure joke never will return or recommend!

I have limited vision in one eye since birth. I always used an ophthalmologist for annual check ups thinking it was the best way to take care of my one good eye. Last year I started my checkups at Bossier Family Eye Care. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of modern technology used. It was more comprehensive and more up to date than all previous doctors. I needed new glasses last year which I also purchased there. For the first time I added the process for screening blue light in the lenses. I can now look at any electronic screens for hours, if necessary, without the usual eye fatigue

Dr. Pastilong and her staff are the greatest. The staff is friendly, professional, and efficient and works hard to make everyone's experience great. I wish I could use them continually but they are not one of my approved providers and I cannot afford to pay out of pocket. However, if they are an approved provider in your plan, by all means use Bossier Family Eye Care. You won't be disappointed.
