After arriving in San Antonio, family patriarch and founder Pedro Cortez was drawn to the sounds of strolling musicians in Historic Market Square. The traditional Mexican music reminded him of the folk bands that filled the Tlaquepaque area in his hometown of Guadalajara. At Pico de Gallo, we honor Pedro's memory by celebrating his love of mariachi music every day of the week.
Pico de Gallo proudly offers the Salon Azteca for groups of up to 125 guests. The Salon Azteca has a private bar featuring a magnificent hand-carved wooden mural depicting traditional Mexican festivities. A minimum of 100 guests is needed to guarantee privacy in the space. Please note that all special event reservations require groups of 25 or more guests.

Service was wonderful even tho outdoor seating was unavailable they allowed me to dine out there and still kept an eye on me. Menudo was the yummiest ever just wish they added more hominy... But seriously tho... I'd been craving a huge delicious bowl of menudo and this one was perfectly flavored so it made my day... Thank u for the beautiful experience!

I had not been here in several years. The food was as good as ever. And the service excellent. I had a lunch special with enchiladas that were exceptionally tasty. My friend had the puffy tacos that she said were just perfect. Our waiter was attentive all employees wore masks and gloves. Sopapillas with honey for dessert. A little sweet without being overpowering. Price was about $11 with dessert, so the cost is reasonable as well.

Food was outstanding! Server was very friendly, food came out fast once we ordered. But it took a little too long to place our orders and way too long to get our check. I'm sure they're understaffed like most places, but it was a 90+ minute lunch simply because it seemed too few servers for our upstairs seating section

My wife and I went to eat here at PICO DE GALLO last night for our 5 yr wedding anniversary dinner date night. I used to go eat here all the time when I was a kid...with my dad and the family. He passed away back in 2003, I haven't been there in over 18 yrs. Pico de Gallo was his favorite restaurant. Just walking up to the entrance doors brought back alot of memories. We got sat right away and the service was amazing. The waiter was very attentive to our every want and need, of course the food was just as delicious as I remember. The waiter did an incredible job. Thank you staff of pico de Gallo

I knew this place was gonna be good as soon as I walked through the door to hear and see my fellow Hispanics having a good time. We started off with chips and salsa (of course) and I was surprised by how good the chips were. I only wish the salsa had a some heat to it, but it was delicious nonetheless. We followed them up with some queso and I've gotta admit, it's the best queso I've had in quite a while. For my meal I ordered Carne Guisada with rice and refried bean and it's just like how my grandma makes it. The rice, however, was a little better than hers but I'll never let her know that. This

I found this place accidentally while dropping my Mom off at the hospital, I had some time to kill and I had my dog Lola with me so I stopped in and decided to have a Margarita on there Patio where my dog lola was welcomed to sit. I am so glad I stopped in, there frozen Margaritas was very very good. Not to limey and just enough alcohol so that the drink isn't overwhelming. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food but I will definitely be back for there Margaritas
