Dr. Michaela Fry assumes the ownership responsibilities and full-time veterinarian position at Pleasant View/Juniata Veterinary Clinics. Dr. Fry was born and raised in East Waterford, Pennsylvania and received her B.S. in Veterinary Medical Technology at Wilson College in 2004. While at Wilson College she also minored in Biology, Chemistry, and History.
ROFF was established in 2004 by Diane Adair and Cindy McClellan. They have placed over 450 dogs, over 250 cats and 23 birds thus far. They do not have a shelter facility and therefore rely on the generosity and kindness of the local Lewistown community to help to foster dogs and cats until their forever homes are found.

I was always lucky my dad was a veterinarian and my pets could get the best care they needed at anytime. Since he retired it has been an adjustment but I cannot say enough about the compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable care we are receiving from Juniata County Veterinary Clinic and Urgent Care. Not only have their vet techs called… regularly to check in on our dog Hannah but also Dr. Bucannon the vet who was working when Hannah first came in. Everyone has been so wonderful and supportive at this difficult time for us. I’m so thankful we were able to find an urgent care clinic

We had to put our family dog down today and everyone els could not get him in for a week. The dog was in rough shape could not move and literally just laid there. i called Juniata Veterinary Clinic and they went out of their way to get him in so he didn’t have to suffer anymore. We have had to put two other dogs down in the past at a different… location and it was not peaceful in the slightest but Juniata Veterinary Clinic made sure that it was peaceful and that he was comfortable the whole time. The staff was friendly and kind and i will be a returning customer for my other animals

The staff is so kind and thoughtful. We had to put our sweet dog GIR down last month, they we kind and explained everything. gave us our options and comforted us till the end. They even sent a card with his foot prints. Today when I took my other dog in for a check up several of the staff remembered my sweet GIR (even though he had only been there… the one time) and asked how we were doing. Offered kind words and support, I was very impressed esp since I know they see a lot of people and it's been a month. I will always bring my fur babies to see them!
