Several years ago, CEO Spencer McDonald was visiting a doctor's office. He witnessed the elderly being dropped off at the front entrance door of a four story medical building in wheelchairs and walkers by local transportation companies and family members. Spencer witnessed this several times and found himself helping these individuals into the elevator and to the right doctor office they had appointments with.
Mobility Transportation Services is used by individuals, businesses, and facilities to transport both ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher passengers. We provide safe and secure transportation for nursing homes, rehab care centers, hospitals, alzheimer's and dementia units, company conventions, airport transports, and more.
No, in the state of Utah, Medicaid will only allow Non-Emergency Medical Transportation through an approved carrier that has the contract with the State. The approved carrier at this time is LogistiCare, but you must be approved through them and it only pays for doctor appointments. However, Mobility Transportation is approved through a low income program called FLEXCARE/ NEW CHOICE WAIVER.
We seek professional, friendly, compassionate and dependable drivers who are interested in transporting clients primarily to and from medical appointments, physical therapy, etc. 24 years or older unless you have several years experience with Non-Emergency medical transportation. Must pass a background check with the State of Utah as well as Salt Lake Airport Authority.

Our family is forever grateful to Spenser, the owner, and our driver, James, in the compassionate and caring way in which they helped get our mother transported from Salt Lake City UT to her come in Helena MT for hospice care.

I had an amazing experience with these guys! My wife and I are both in wheelchairs and we were invited to a friend's wedding in the Salt Lake area but were about to give up because it was difficult to find an affordable way to get us both to everywhere we needed to be over several days. Luckily I found these guys. When I called for rates and told them the situation they immediately referred me to the owner. When I contacted him he gave me his email and had me send him our iternary: 7 trips over 3 days. He sent me a quote the next day that included a discount since we had so many trips close together

I’ve worked with mobility professionally for a couple years now, scheduling transports for patients in my hospital. They are always on time and always keep it professional. Their dispatchers and drivers are friendly, and the owner is willing to do whatever he can to help you out. I always have patients who come back and comment how much they loved their services.
