The Martial Arts Connection was established in October of 2009 by Mark Murphy and Joyce Demers. After working together for nearly a decade at another local karate school. Differences in both philosophy and direction with the ownership of that school, led to an abrupt departure for both instructors.
Soon after, with the help of 10 incredible families that wanted to see the same quality of professional instruction continue on in the Norton, MA area. Our "connection" to our students and TMAC families has helped us to create a fun, clean and safe environment for both children and adults to train in a variety of classes.

This class is Miss Joyce's Creation! Over the years of teaching our Karate Kids, we have seen so much interest from the younger siblings who are not quite old enough yet to jump out onto the training floor by themselves! That is when Miss Joyce created a 30 minute class specifically for ages 3 - young 4yr olds that includes parent participation!

My grandsons go there it's a remarkable place with fantastic instructors. They teach the everyone respect with respect they are exceptionally good with children I can't say enough good things about TMAC and the instructors you have to experience it for yourself it is a wonderful place for children to learn martial arts how to defend themselves also to learn self respect and respect for others. It makes a positive influence on them definitely.

My daughter has attended for 4 years. She has not loved every second of it (what kid loves hard work all the time?) but during those moments when she hated it the most, Miss Joyce and Mr Murphy have always been there to pick her back up, support her, give her new motivation, and the right amount of pressure to get back on track. They are firm, (and a lot of fun!) but always respectful. Students can expect to make friends here who help teach each other, have fun together, and support and push each other to be better and do better. We have loved every second of our time in the TMAC family. Olivia
