Stones River Recovery was founded in 2015 as Sober Living 4 Jesus, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit drug and alcohol transitional living facility. In 2004, Jerry Barrett, a Gospel preacher and logger, suffered a paralyzing back injury and was placed on heavy pain medications. Jerry spent over a year in a hospital bed, unable to walk.
Stones River Recovery, a faith-based rehab center, was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of helping men overcome addiction. This means a lower cost while not sacrificing quality of care. At Stones River Recovery, we believe that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

With so many addiction recovery centers, it can be challenging to choose which one is right for you. Phase One is a Residential Inpatient Program and is the starting point for Stones River Recovery residents. It's different than other addiction recovery centers because we take a more modified approach.
Completing the first phase (Phase One) of your treatment plan is one of the most exciting, yet challenging times in the journey of recovery. Basically you simply practice living as you will when you go home. LTR programs offer you or your loved one the best available chance to stay sober. From a medical perspective, both the body and mind of an alcoholic or drug addict requires time to properly heal.
