I have worked with Steve Negrete and Liza Negrete twice to refinance my loan. They give you the best rates and they are very upright about the costs and the estimate , and the actuals are not much different. Call them any number of times and you can hear a very enthusiastic Steve responding back .They are very open to accommodating any changes(there were some changes from my end) and very patiently explain on how the changes need to be handled. Did not have a smooth process. They requested entirely too much documentation and after insisting that I participate in 3rd party verification of a loan on a investment property, they "couldn't find the 3rd party verification" There gimmick is they drag out the process so that you won't be able to close on time and they rack of the fees.

I couldn't have asked for better service than I received from Keith Barney and SOL mortgage for my most recent refinance. Over the course of the 20 years in my house, I have no refinanced 7 times but his one was the least painful, best rate and saved me the most money...with reasonable fees. I was referred to Keith from a friend who had done a refinance a few years prior and within a day we had already begun my process. All this while he was in California and I was in Virginia!
